This could be a normal story, just like the others. More is not. My Lucas and I have a big secret. To contextualize everyone, I'm gay, since I understand myself by people. I live in São Paulo with my father, Richard, and my sister, Lizzy. I'm 15 years old, and I'm not a normal teenager, I'm very different. I never liked sports, the only one I ever put up with was Basketball. I love going to school, and this might sound really nerdy, but I love English. Even though I was the younger brother, I always took care of my sister and even my father. Whenever I'm bored, I start reading, and now I'm reading, because I'm so bored, and until I have peace, until my sister arrives.

- Lucas - Lizzy Screams from afar - Lucaaas - Screams again - Damn Lucas, I'm talking to you, are you deaf? - She asks as soon as she enters my room.

- I didn't let you in. - I say closing the book.

- It's more in case you forgot, you have my phone. - She says as she takes the phone from my dresser. - And Aliais, dad is calling us to go eat. - She finishes.

- All right, I'm coming. - I say and open the book again.

- Seriously, are you going to stay in that room all day and read? - She asks

- Yes, I have nothing to do anyway. - I say

- Lucas, we're on vacation. You do not have friends? - She asks

- Yes, I have many friends - I say in irony

- Serious? Tell me three of your "friends" - Lizzy says in Sarcasm.

- First, You, Second, Nathan and Third, Anthony - I say, getting up, and going to my dresser.

- For starters, I'm your sister, and it doesn't count, according to Anthony is our cousin... that is, Family. And you haven't even spoken to Nathan in like four years, since he left for Chicago. - Lizzy says as she lays down on my bed.

- Okay, it doesn't matter. I don't know if... - I was about to finish, but my father enters the room.

- License, can I come in? - He says knocking on the already open door.

- You can come in dad - I pause - saw Lizzy, you should be like our father and ask for permission.

- Serious? - She asks in irony. - More Know that I will never do that.

- Okay, I just came here to call you to eat, the food is already on the table. - He says approaching to the door.

- Okay, I'll just get my cell phone. - I say, and he withdraws and goes to the kitchen. I take my cell phone and go with Lizzy to eat.

We start to eat, but in about 6 minutes, my cell phone and Lizzy's beep, so we take it to see what it is.

- Fuck Jeez - Lizzy says as soon as she turns on the cell phone.

- Hey, look at your mouth, young lady - My Father says to Lizzy - What happened?

- A boy from our school came out as gay, anonymously on twitter and someone discovered his profile and shared it with everyone. - She explains to my father.

- I'm going to my room, okay - I say and remove my plate and go to my room. I lay down on the bed, and start reading the tweet.

[Hello, everyone reading this POST. I came to do something that no one has ever done, via Twitter. I'm Gay, and I came to vent about it here, because I couldn't bear to keep this secret from everyone anymore, and I don't think it's something I should choose, because it didn't change anything in me, I just discovered something that deep down I already knew years ago. And I don't care about the shitty Homophobes who are judging me as soon as they see the word Gay in the tweet. Well that's me. With Love, Unknown Boy.]

I don't know why, but this tweet really messed with me... I don't know if it's because it was written by a gay boy who apparently goes to my school. Or if it's because I identified myself with some details of this post. But there's only one thing I want to do right now... and that's send this boy a message. But there is one thing that is stopping me, which is the lack of courage.

After about 20 minutes of working up the courage to text the boy, I finally gain the courage and start writing.

[Hi, Unknown Boy, you don't know me and I suppose you don't know me either. But you and I have one thing in common, and that thing in common is that we both keep the same secret... well, maybe you don't, but I do... I'm gay and I'm too scared to tell the people that matter. for me. I hope I can talk with you. With Love, Freddy.]

I finish and I analyze to see if I send it or not. Maybe you're wondering why I signed as 'Freddy'. And the answer is quite simple, Freddy is the name of the Killer from the movie "A Nightmare on Elm Street" which is my favorite horror movie.

When I'm about to give up sending the message, my father appears out of nowhere in my room, giving me such a fright that it makes me press the enter keyboard on my notebook, causing the message to be sent.

- Son, I'm already going to work, there's food in the pots inside the fridge, if you need anything, call me. It's fine - He says

- Okay, bye dad - I say coming out of the trance, and then I run to close the bedroom door, and go back to the laptop. When I call I see that it's already too late, the message had already been sent, so now I just have to wait for an answer.

Hours Later:
23:27

After a long time in my room, I go to the living room and see Lizzy sitting on the couch and eating ice cream. I sit beside you.

- Lizzy, can I ask you a question? - I ask

- Can, what is it? Want ice cream? - She asks.

- Not worth. So what did you think of the kid coming out in that post? - I ask

- I thought it was normal, why? - She asks

- You're welcome... And you thought, like normal? - I say stuttering.

- I think, why? Do not you think ? - she asks

- Obviously I think this is normal, do you think I'm homophobic? - I say

- Well, for a few seconds I thought so - She says, but is interrupted by the company that plays.

- I'll answer - I say and go to the door.

- Who will be ? - She asks.

- I don't know, there's only one way to know - I say and open the door.

As soon as I open the door, I'm met by a boy who LITERALLY looks just like me.

- What the fuck - Lizzy says as soon as she sees who it is at the door.
