I wake up in the morning, very early. I look at my phone and see that I received a WhatsApp message from an unknown number. I open the conversation and start reading.
Messages On:
- Hi Lucas. Sorry for the time I'm texting. In case you don't know who I am... My name is Nathan, your friend from years ago. And I hope you don't mind me texting you, but I got your number from Lizzy. So I arrived in Brazil this morning, and I was wondering if you would go to the movies with me.
- Hi Nathan, I'm super into it, it's been a while since we've seen each other, just make an appointment for us to meet.
- Okay, can we meet at 1pm? It's just that I have some things to do first.
- OK, could be. People meet there.
- Okay, even.
- Until.
Messages Off
After texting Nathan, I go to the bathroom in my room, brush my teeth and then go to bed again and call Miguel.
- Miguel, wake up - I say pushing him.
- Okay, just give me two minutes - He then goes back to sleep.
- No. Get up soon. - I say and push him again.
"Okay, fine," he says, getting up and heading to the bathroom.
I wait for him to come out of the bathroom so we can go for coffee. He finally leaves and we go into the kitchen. Arriving there, I see my father making banana pancakes.
- Good morning. - Miguel and I said at the same time.
- Good morning, do you want pancakes? It's bananas. - He offers.
- I'll want. - I say, and I get up to preach a coffee
- I'll want one too - Miguel says almost asleep.
- I'll get a coffee, would you like one? - I ask Miguel.
- Yes please. - he answers.
I go to the coffee machine and make myself a cappuccino and an espresso for Miguel. After getting ready, I'm going to eat.
I finish eating, and go brush my teeth. Since we have nothing else to do, Miguel and I went back to bed and started watching a Mystery movie, but in the middle of the movie Miguel and I ended up falling asleep.

I wake up with the alarm clock, I see that it's already 11:43. I go to my dresser and grab a black T-shirt, a black and white plaid shirt, a pair of jeans, and black shoes. I run to the bathroom and start taking my shower. I finish and start getting dressed. I finish and text Nathan.
Messages On:
- Nathan, which mall are we meeting at?
- It could be at Center Norte, because it's close to here.
- Okay, I'll meet you there.
- It's OK
Messages Off
When I finish texting Nathan, I see that it's already 11:57. I order an Uber and head to the Mall. I wait for Nathan at the entrance.
After a few minutes of waiting for Nathan, I decide to text him. When I was going to press the send button, I am surprised by someone who touches me from behind. I turn and see it's Nathan.
- Hey Lucky - He says, going to hug me.
- Hey, Nate - I say returning the hug.
- Hey, my little brother, how are you? - El says breaking the hug.
