10. That's me

FRIDAY - November 22

Another day begins, but this time I'm fine, I'm still kind of sad knowing that my former best friend leaked the messages I had with someone who really understood me... but that's in the past and right now without talk to the kid, I have to look forward to it.

I woke up early and went to shower, make breakfast and wait for everyone to wake up. When it's about 10am I hear someone knocking on the door, I leave the kitchen and go to the door, I open it and I find Nathan at the door with a scar on his forehead, a cut on his lip and his eye with a very light purple mark.

- What do you want? And what happened to the face? - I ask

- Your crazy brothers and your sister's friend beat me in my own house - He replies and I end up letting out a light laugh

- You kind of deserved it, right - I say and try to close the door, but he holds it

"Luke, let me explain myself to you," he says.

- To begin with, my name is Lucas... and another thing, there's no explanation for what you did, you managed to separate me from a friend I had, and you even made everyone discover that I was gay, so don't tell me you have explanation for what you did, why not - I finish and close the door in your face.

I go to my room and watch a movie to distract my mind, then after about 30 minutes I hear everyone waking up, I go to the kitchen and see my father and Miguel at the table, I say good morning to them and then I go to Lizzy's room , I knock on the door;

"You can come in" she says.

- Lizzy, can I talk to you? - I ask as soon as I enter her room

- Can, what is it? -She asks while she brushes her teeth

- Thank you - I say

- For what? - She says leaving the bathroom

- For the beating of Nathan - I say

- How did you... - Before she could finish, I interrupt with a line

- He came here, to try to explain himself, and ended up talking

- Let's agree that he deserved it, right - She says

- He deserved it 100% - I say and laugh a little

"Next time you'll have to go," she says.

- Get me out of this... Shall we eat? - I say

"Come on, I'm starving" She says.

We go to eat and we start talking, until someone knocks on the door, my father goes to answer it and sees that it's just the mail that had arrived.

- Guys, this is for Lucas, for Lizzy and these two are for Miguel- He says delivering the letters to each one - So what does it say?

- I joined your school - Miguel says putting the letter on the table.

- And yours? - My father asks

- We were invited to a welcome party at the school, which will take place tomorrow night - I say

- You're going to go, right? - Lizzy asks

- I will - Miguel and I replied at the same time

- Okay, I'll drop you off there tomorrow - My Father replies

We spent the rest of the day just talking about the party the next day, Lizzy stayed in her room talking to Mariana... Miguel and I stayed in the room, Miguel watched, I listened to music while reading a book... My father stayed watching television until sleep.
