A/N; Sorry that I haven't posted in a while. I was busy with exams and I also had writer's block. Anyhow, here's my longest chapter yet. Hope you like it.

Twelve minutes to noon, I got a text from Xavier on my brand new iPhone.

Xavier: Meet me outside in 5 minutes.

Wait what. How was I supposed to get out of my house with my super strict parents on the watch like a pair of rabid dogs?

Candy: How can I get out? My parents wont allow it.

There is a short wait and then:

Xavier: There is a pear tree just outside your window. Use it.

I roll my eyes, even though he can't see me. So thats how he got into my room last night. I look out my window – its pretty low and looks safe enough. I lock my room door, just in case my parents want to checkup on me, and I jump out the window and scale down the tree, landing safely, before I walk across the lawn, and I find Xaviers car just waiting across the sidewalk.

He sees me, steps out of the back of the car and holds the door open for me, allowing me to get in before he steps in. The car starts moving as soon as the door is closed. There is a screen separating the driver from us, which means that we are left alone. I clear my throat awkwardly, and Xavier turns around to face me. He is dressed in a formal blue dress shirt which is tight, emphasizing his muscles and abs, though I am obviously not looking at them. He looks very formal, and I feel underdressed in my plain yellow top and black skirt, which took me forever to pick out since I usually hate looking all dressed up.

"Good afternoon Mr. Reyes" , I say politely.

"Miss Greene, I trust that the new phone was well functioning?"

"Yes it was. Thank you. I would like to see the receipt so that I can pay for it."

Xavier turns to me, surprise etched on his face. "Pay for it?", he says, clearly astonished.

"Yes I would like to pay for it. I know it will take a while because it is so expensive but..."

"I do not expect you to pay me for the phone Candy", he says sternly. "I  bought it for you as a gift, and no payment is required"

Oh, well if he feels that way, I guess Ill have to find a different way to repay him.

"So where are we going?" , I ask, curiously.

Xavier's face lightens up a bit. "We're going to a little place I know of where we can have a good meal and a private discussion."

"A private discussion?"

"Yes. You said that you feel like you don't know me, and I feel that I should get to know more about you"

Oh, is he still offended by what I said last night? I hope not.

He seems to read my thoughts and he says, "I wasn't offended by what you said Candy, because it was true. I tend not to let people into my private life, for reasons that I may or may not tell you later. However, as my P.A., you may need to answer some questions about me, so I think that we should get to know a little about each other."

Of course hes only doing this to help his business grow. Why else would he spend his free day with you? the voice in my head sneers, and I have no answer in my head.

I remain silent until we drive up to a very fancy looking restaurant, and I gasp when I see the name. The cosmopolitan. It's literally one of the most exclusive restaurants around here and was even ranked in a magazine as one of the top five most glamorous restaurants in the US. The guest list is rumored to have the names of governors and film stars.
