Starla's eyes widened. More than a dozen of their fellow students were huddled around a large table, Hermione Granger was stood as she spoke. Gryffindors, Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs, it was clear that this was some kind of meeting. Unfortunately, a floorboard under Theodore's foot creaked. Starla shoved him.
"Ow, what the fuck?" he asked, taken by surprise. He stumbled back a bit, coming into view of the students.
Hermione stopped speaking, all 15 heads turned to look at the two. Theodore was massaging his arm as he glared at Starla.
"Good afternoon," Starla spoke awkwardly.
They didn't greet the two back.
"Who told you we'd be here?" Ron spoke up agitatedly.
Starla frowned. "Erm— we had no idea you'd be here."
"We were only wondering who'd come to a place like this," Theodore looked around while hardening his glare, "Turns out we found our answer."
"Theo, don't be rude... is this some kind of secret club? How fascinating," Starla smiled.
Theodore stared at her, wondering how ever she could be so kind, even as all of their peers glared at her.
"No," answered Hermione, too quickly.
Starla's eyes widened. "Oh— don't worry. We won't tell, right Theo?"
"We won't. We're not Draco anyway," his lip quirked upwards.
"You're lucky he isn't with us, he'd do anything to have something on you," Starla chuckled, staring at what people fancied calling 'The Golden Trio'.
That seemed to ease the group up a bit.
"I heard you say something about Umbridge. Is this some kind of group to take her down?" Starla grinned.
She noticed Marietta Edgecombe, Parvati Patil and Katie Bell staring, nearly ogling at Theodore.
"Erm..." Hermione—who was still standing—looked as if she didn't know whether to trust the Slytherins or not.
Harry shook his head a fraction when Hermione looked down at him. Fred looked mildly uncomfortable while faced with Starla. George Weasley and Theodore glared at each other, still sour about the fight.
"Again, don't worry. We hate that pug looking whore as much as you do."
Four of the students choked on their Butterbeers, surprised at her choice of words and the sudden rough language. Some snorted, two chuckled, alas, Harry, Ron and Hermione did not react.
"Nevertheless, carry on, we didn't mean to barge in. And next time you have one of these meetings, I suggest the Shrieking Shack."
Hermione nodded with a small smile.
Lavender Brown suddenly spoke up. "Out of curiosity, are you two dating? I heard a rumor and since you two are here together..."
Starla didn't know what to answer, she knew that Brown adored gossip.
"I wouldn't complain," Theodore decided to tease the girl next to him.
