Starla had listened to her intrusive thoughts and retreated to the drinks table. The boys that had previously sat on the sofa with her had scolded her, she had nearly cried. Theodore, Blaise and Draco were now in the process of carrying her back to her room.

"She's so heavy," whined Blaise.

They had to whisper in order to not get caught.

"You're just weak, mate. She's like a hundred pounds," Draco rolled his eyes.

Blaise glared at him.

"At least she's not dead, she'd be even heavier then," Theo mumbled as they walked through the dark hallways.

"Well she's at the brink of dying."

The two other boys rolled their eyes at Blaise's dramatics.

They heard a sudden sound at the end of the corridor. Draco took his wand out in alarm, forgetting that he was still carrying his cousin.

"Shit!" Draco hissed.

Draco dropped his wand and caught her before she could fall. The wooden stick made a loud clattering sound as it met the flagstone floor, Draco screwed his face up and looked up at the ceiling.

Theodore and Blaise looked at their friend as if he'd gone mad.

"What the fuck Malfoy!?" Theodore whisper-shouted, still holding Starla's legs.

"I heard something!" Draco whispered aggressively.

They all looked around the corridor.

"Well you're clearly deluded," Blaise looked at Draco.

"I'm sure I heard something."

"Whatever. Let's just get her to her dorm," Theo said.

"My wand is on the floor," Draco whispered in exasperation.

They all looked at the stick, up at Starla and back down at the stick. The trio had all of their hands occupied.

"Fucking hell," groaned Theodore.

"Okay... erm," Blaise mumbled with a frown, thinking.

Theodore crouched down and placed her leg on his shoulder, freeing one of his hands. He imagined what Starla would be thinking if she were to wake up. Draco snorted at the sight but pressed his lips to a thin line in a tragic attempt not to laugh. Blaise was looking around the corridor, in case Filch came running at them. Theodore was struggling to say the least, the wand was out of his reach. He tapped Draco's leg, the latter looked down and tried to kick the wand toward Theodore, still shaking with laughter. He failed miserably, the wand was even further away. Theodore looked up at Draco in complete disbelief. The latter started laughing harder.

"Stop giggling like a fucking schoolgirl Malfoy," Blaise whispered.

Draco was shaking, eyes closed and trying not to let any sound out of his mouth.

"We must look so fucking stupid right now," he said finally with a chuckle.

Theodore snorted but raised his hand to cover his mouth instantly. Blaise chuckled but looked away, as if it would help him not start laughing.

They did look very stupid.

"Fuck, we really need to get that wand," Theodore mumbled.

They shuffled backward until Theodore got hold of the wand, placed it in Draco's back pocket, grabbed Starla's leg and stood up. He sighed, nodding.

"Let's go," Blaise mumbled.

They continued walking, although more silently than before. Starla still hadn't woken up, miraculously. Blaise, who was holding her by her upper back and shoulders, admired how peaceful she looked while asleep.
