Jett's POV:

"I assure you sir, I had no idea Mr Donovan had the Tesseract, the only reason Indigo and I were there is because he had a brick thrown through his window with a written threat on" I assured Mr Stark, he's convinced that Indigo and I have something to do with Hydra, which I suppose we do but absolutely not in the way he thinks.

"Look kid, you understand why I have concerns but aside from the Tesseract, I've got two kids with powers that I had no clue about, so care to expand on your abilities?" he asked as he leant back in his chair.

"My abilities, umm well when my sister and I were younger, our parents were part of Hydra and we were selected because we had 'genetic potential' for some programme and we were taken from our parents when I was 9 and Indigo was 5" I began.

"Keep going if you can, I'm afraid I do need more information than that" Mr Stark said as he scribbled down notes.

"Okay well we spent 5 years in a facility in Norway, where we were tested on, trained and educated. Finally, when Indigo was 10 and I was 14, they carried out their experiment. We were both injected with serum and exposed to something and we woke up afterwards and managed to escape with our new powers" I finished.

"That's great kid, do you have any idea what it is you were exposed to?" Mr Stark asked.

"I don't know, but seeing that Tesseract's blue glow today reminded me of something from the exposure, that was something blue as well but that's all I remember, I'm sorry" I told him.

"That's okay, thank you for explaining, my last query is what have your sister and yourself been doing for the past 5 years since you escaped?" Tony asked.

I explained that we were on the run for a bit before settling in New York.

Once Mr Stark had finished up his conversation with me, we went to go and find where Ms Romanoff had taken Indigo.

"What's going to happen to us now?" I apprehensively asked as we walked down the corridor.

"I'm going to have to call Fury and ask him, if my prediction is right, which it usually is, I'm going to have two new Avengers on my hands" Mr Stark shrugged as he knocked on Ms Romanoff's office door.

"Hey Nat, is Indigo with you?" Mr Stark asked as he opened the door.

"Yeah she's just here, Indigo your brother's here now" she told Indi who was sat on the couch with Natasha.

"Jett!" Indigo exclaimed as she ran into my arms.

"Hey sis, you alright?" I asked.

"Yeah I'm fine, are you okay?" she asked me.

"Of course I'm alright I just have no idea what we're doing now" I laughed.

"Does this mean I don't have to go to school tomorrow?" Indi's eyes lit up.

"Sure, fine whatever" I chuckled.

"We'd best get you kids some rooms, follow me" Tony gestured for us to follow him.

Indigo and I gave each other a look of excitement before trotting after Mr Stark who led us back through the kitchen of the compound through to another long corridor.

"This is the corridor of bedrooms, they don't always have people in, for example Clint's here at the moment but once we've debriefed tomorrow he goes back to his own house" Tony explained as we walked down the corridor.

"Anyway, these two can be your rooms, feel free to decorate them as you please" Mr Stark shrugged as he opened two identical bedrooms.

"Thank you Mr Stark!" I said as I marvelled at the size of the room.
