Craig's family looks at him, and he shakes his head, "I haven't seen him..."
Craig's dad turns back to the officer, "Did he really go insane?"
"His parents say that he bit them. He could be dangerous." the police officer replies.
Craig looks concerned, "I'm gonna help look for him."
Craig gets his shoes on. The officer leaves.
Craig goes to his room to get his phone and jacket.
Once Craig closes his door Tweek speaks.
"Craig!"
Craig jumps, "Tweek!?"
Tweek puts his hands over Craig's mouth, "Quiet! No one can know I'm here!"
Craig nods, and Tweek releases him.
"Tell me what's going on."
Tweek tells Craig the whole story.
"So... They have been giving you... meth... for your whole life... and that's what... that's what landed me in the hospital..."
Craig is trying hard to wrap his mind around it. He looks at Tweek who is crying.
Craig grabs Tweeks face, "It's okay, we can figure this out. We are going to be okay. What was your next step?"
"I was gonna ask you to drive me to the police station. I snuck out samples of the coffee and the sauce. We can get it tested there. That was my plan until the police started searching the town for me."
Craig nods, "Okay... We can still go, I'll drive you and walk in with you. Once we explain the situation to the cops they should stop trying to capture you. Once we are done we need to take you to a hospital. We need to make sure that your body is stable. How long has it been since you had coffee?"
Tweek looks at the time, "Almost 20 hours..."
"And what's the longest you've gone?"
"20 hours..."
"Shit, okay. Put my hoodie on, I'm gonna sneak you out."
Tweek limps towards the door.
"Tweek, your feet! They're a mess!"
"I didn't have time to put shoes on..."
"Shit. You're bleeding all over. Change of plans, we go to the hospital first, you need to-"
"No! My parents will find me! Please can we go to the station first?!"
Craig thinks for a moment. "Okay, but let me fix your feet up a bit first, I don't want them to get infected."
Craig removes the debris from Tweeks feet, then he cleans them and wraps them in cloth he tore from one of his shirts.
"Okay, I'll carry you to the truck since you can't walk fast. Are you ready?"
"Yes"
"Okay, hold on tight."
Craig picks up Tweek bridal style and swings his door open, he runs through his house, steals his dad's keys, and puts Tweek in the truck. All this was missed by Craig's family, caught up in the chaos.
Craig gets in the truck and starts driving to the station.
-
They enter the station.
"Hey, isn't that the kid we are looking for?"
Craig steps in front of Tweek.
"We need to talk to a detective or something, get him protected, we have proof that his parents have been drugging him."
The cops close in, "Who are you?"
"I'm his boyfriend, my name is Craig Tucker. Please, he needs to get to a doctor. He isn't safe with his parents. We have the proof with us, we just need you to test-"
Craig is punched in the stomach, making him topple over.
Craig falls to the ground, coughing. He just had the air knocked out of him, he has never been hit that hard.
"Down boy." A police officer says before hitting the back of Craig's neck
"ACK!" Craig stops struggling.
Tweek panics, "Craig!!"
Police restrain Tweek.
The officer who punched Craig speaks up, "We received reports that you boys were doped up and carrying a bomb. We have orders to restrain you on sight. Boys, take that kid's bag and give it to bomb detail. Be careful with it."
Tweek starts to squirm, trying to get out, "A bomb?! Are you insane?! Is Craig okay? Let me see him!"
The police pick Craig up and take him away, he was unconscious.
"CRAIG!!"
The police try to take Tweek away but he wiggles his way out of their grip and runs towards Craig. An officer hits Tweek on the back of the head with the back end of his gun, knocking him out.
