Author's note, sorry for the inconsistencies. I've been really stressed recently, I'm looking into that though. Thanks for the support and ! Btw this chapter contains brief implied partial nudity, and a couple of mentions of internal body parts. Trigger and gross out warnings. Yes I am writing using "I, me, and myself" to refer to myself (Wade Willson).
Peter woke up feeling extremely refreshed, and happier than he had in a while. He checked his alarm and saw it read 9:30. That's earlier than usual, he thought to himself. As Peter darted down the stairs, with a lot more adrenaline than needed for a Saturday morning, he ran into Loki.
"Woah, kiddo! Slow down *hah*. I guess your body accepted the blood. If it accepted spider dna, than I guess I shouldn't have doubted anything." Loki smiled.
"Yeah, dad *ha*. I'm going to eat something, I am starving!"
As Peter walked away he missed Loki whispering to himself, "he called me dad *heh*, I'm a dad."
All the food in the world couldn't have satisfied Peter Parker that morning, but he was too overwhelmed to eat much. Everything seemed more than before. Colour was more colourful, tastes were tastier. Unfortunately that also meant sound was louder, and his "peter tingle" seemed out of touch. Alarm bells were ringing solely because his chair could potentially give him a splinter.
The overwhelming feeling of everything grew to be too much for him, so Peter returned to his room. There he held himself in front of the bathroom mirror and looked into his own eyes. Something seemed off though. He looked taller, and stronger. Peter took off his shirt revealing nothing. His chest was flat. The Loki part of him just went, here, have some joy and gender euphoria. Now he did one more check. He held out his pyjama's waistband, and looked down. It was there, just as he'd wished since he was a kid. Thank goodness for generous adoptive fathers. He thought.
Peter got dressed into his black t-shirt and baggy jeans. With his earbuds stuffed into his pocket, Peter was off to Loki's room. It was only five minutes to the elevator, and three minutes after that to the actual room.
"Hey FRIDAY," Peter stammered, "can you take me to floor five? Thanks." He noticed his voice sounded deeper, not by much, but it was noticeable.
Stumbling to Loki's room, Peter was stuck in that stage between pure excitement, and being so overwhelmed by everything that he couldn't breathe. He entered the room and Loki was burning incense.
"It helps me focus," Loki whispered, and then gave him a hug.
Peter smiled, "I need help. I think some of your transformation style powers had a bit of an effect."
"I expected that. Plus, you're voice sounded deeper."
"Do you know- can you- can I- if I become a boy biologically, does my body-?
"Yeah, if you become someone, your body works the same as their's. Or like when you just change your sex, like just now. You are physically now the way you would be if you were male at birth."
"Thank you *sob*, thank you so much. I love you" Peter cried as he hugged Loki.
"I love you too," Loki whispered.
They both sat there and smiled, leaning against each other. Loki turned to Peter and smiled. He then transformed into a snake and curled around Peter's neck. Peter laughed, his grin showing all of his teeth.
Loki changed back and Peter asked, "Mr Wilson told me about a school that I could attend. It's set up to help young mutants, like he thinks I am. I wanted to get your opinion before I made any decisions."
Loki responded, "Peter, honey. You are 18 years old. You don't need anyone, much less me to tell you how to live. If you think learning there is what's best for you, then by all means go ahead. Just remember that I'll be rooting for you all the way."
"Thanks dad. I think I'll register."
Peter left the room, searching for me. When he found me Peter asked, "where do I sign up!"
"You're serious? Perfect. I've got a couple of papers, you will be given lodging, and all the books you need in return for working on a handful of experiments for professor Xavier. Surely there's no way you could turn this down." I said in a very stereotypical interviewer voice. It made Peter laugh, which made wade smile.
Peter jokingly said in a very action movie-ish voice, "I am serious, and don't call me Shirley."
Oh man. I can't believe... Airplane! of all things. Gods I'm an idiot. He gasped mentally. Fortunately for him, I cheerfully laughed extremely hard. Peter Parker laughed. Both of us laughed.
"Hey, I know this great Thai food place. I heard you like Thai food." I asked.
"Yeah, Aunt May and I used to go out to celebrate over Thai food. She used to like larb. Is's a kind of salad."
Both of us spent the afternoon together, celebrating the scholarship. We went to the place that turned out to be the same place he used to go out with his aunt.
"Wade," he whispered to me, "I have to tell you something weird. Ok, so I had this situation with a wizard where, basically everyone forgot I existed. Or at least the Peter Parker part of me. I'm not sure why you need to know that, but you I feel like you should know that."
"Umm, thanks?" I smiled awkwardly.
We spent the rest of the day together. We went superhero-ing around the city, stopped a mugger, and gave this nice old lady directions to a nice pizza place. It was the funnest thing I have ever done in my life. Peter seemed pretty happy too. He didn't stop smiling all through the day. He spent the entire morning looking at his chest though. At least Peter was happy, and seemed like he was enjoying himself. It was seriously amazing.
At the end of the day, I gave him ice cream, and he gave me a hug.
Keep it cool Wade, I thought to myself, he's only 18. I cannot deal with that, and there's no way he can.
Oh my gods, Peter blushed, I think I have a crush on Wade Wilson.
