It was a subtle warm day and I was sitting on the front porch in front of my house as I had just gotten back to my hometown from Milan last night.
I've been doing modeling for most of my life; discovered at age 15, I'm 19 now. I could definitely say that the lifestyle is a lot darker than most of the people perceive it as, you'll either have the best or worst times of your life.
I've met some amazing people during the timeline of my currently ongoing career, the best one of them being Fiona Roth. Her and I are one of the biggest models in the industry and I met her during a show in New York City. We hit it off immediately and I've been best friends with her ever since. I truly do appreciate her existence even though we tend to have our disagreements every now and then, but what's a good friendship without any, right?
I've also known Vincent Neil Wharton for almost my entire life, he's been my first at everything. Sex, drugs, we've literally been rehabbed and sent to jail together, not to mention we went to the same school.
We were like those two best friends nobody could ever separate. Now, I've always thought that the entire "soulmate" shit was cringe and deluded and I'd always make fun of the couples who'd call each other soulmates and then break up over some small indifference like a month later, but me and Vincent? There was definitely something there. Never in a romantic way, but we were quite utterly meant to be.
He was like an older brother to me.
We've sort of lost contact over the years since I moved away to Miami from Tampa. Don't get me wrong, we still speak over the phone and i send him letters every once in a while, but obviously it isn't the same anymore. I know he's been trying to get in contact with me again a lot more recently, and I'm thinking I should really take a small break from my career anyway as I've been extremely exhausted from all the scandalous drama going on in the modeling industry.
I really miss him and I should definitely catch up.
