I finally found myself a job.
I found myself a job at a small café where people mostly order coffee or any starbucks-type drinks.
I've always found it fascinating and fun to make drinks, plus it's quite easy and they pay you well.

I've been doing this job for the past four days and it's going quite peacefully. The manager can be a bitch sometimes, but I'll live through it since he doesn't get in my way too often. In fact, I barely see him at all. Rarely, but mostly in the mornings. He comes up to me to check on if I'm doing everything right.

Most of the time, I'm working with a single other worker but he's a nice guy so I'm not bothered at all. He's two years younger than me, still attends college.

-8 am-

I wake up to my alarm. It's thursday.
I get out of bed quick as fuck since I have to clock in right at 9 am and the manager would be pissed if I was a minute late.

I take a quick hot shower, do my skincare, minimalistic makeup and everything else and head downstairs. My outfit was a tight black long sleeved top with some luxurious jewelry and a short tight denim skirt. I knew I was going to have to be wearing the apron at work anyway since unfortunately, my job has a minimal uniform.

I check the clock, it's 8:25 which means I still have some time to have my morning coffee and a cigarette. I walk into the kitchen and to the the coffee maker and make myself a fresh hot black coffee. I pour the coffee into a cup and take the cup and my pack of cigarettes to the living room as I sit down on the nice satin couch.

I get to enjoy my cigarette and coffee for about five minutes if not less, when Tommy walks in and sits down next to me.
Why the fuck won't this man leave me alone for once.

"Morning, sweetheart" He says as he ruffles my freshly curled bleached hair.

"Morning." I blankly answer, not bothering to lay my eyes on him.

He wraps his arm around my shoulder and doesn't say a thing.

"Why are you here?" I ask him, with a passionless tone.

"Thought you'd need some company."

"Well, you were wrong then." I tell him, still not looking at him.

"Wow, so rude. Come on, we both know you love me
so stop acting cold towards me."

"Fuck off, Tommy. Why aren't you with Heather or whatever her name was anyway?" I question.

"Why'd you think I'd be with her? You jealous?"

"Fuck no, Tom. It's nothing like that."

"Right. Why don't you like her then?"

"She's a hassle. Whatever, let's stop talking about this, you're ruining my morning." I tell him, trying to change the subject.

"See, you are jealous. Aren't you?" He asks me, completely pissing me off.

"Tommy, why won't you just fuck off for once? What is it with you?"
