I woke up alone, cold in a bed I had just previously shared with Tommy. I walked numbly into the bathroom of my guest room and took the hottest shower I had taken in years. The water running down my skin, slowly burning it, was so hot that I could've just fainted then and there.

When I was done with the rest of my routine I headed downstairs in a small satin robe with my hair freshly curled up. Feeling as if I was suddenly in a better condition, I made myself some tea and sat down behind the kitchen counter enjoying the morning. I never bothered to check what time it was.

"There you are, I've been looking all over for you" Tommy walks in and wraps his arms around my fragile frame.

"I'm sorry for leaving you in your bed all by yourself." He tells me as he kisses my head.
By the time he had apologized, I had realized that he's hopeless.

I grab the nearest box of cigarettes and a lighter which lie on the counter with me and light a cigarette between my lips, the razor feeling going through me as I inhale. With nicotine running through my veins I feel much fresher.

"How are you feeling today?" Tommy asks me, sitting right next to me behind the counter.

"Fine." I answer, bluntly.

"Okay." He mutters ever so silently, more to himself.

As I'm smoking my cigarette, I can see a blonde who happens not to be Vince, walk in from the corner of my eye. I don't look at her.

Tommy gets up, almost immediately, rushing over to her. I can see him kiss her right on the lips, right in front of me.
At this point, he's too despairing for me to even care.

I keep soothingly smoking my cigarette there behind the counter as they quietly talk about something, not giving enough of a fuck to eavesdrop.

"Val, this is Heather,," He pauses, persuading me to look at her, so I slightly move my head a bit more towards her.

"Heather, this is Valentina." I hear him tell her.
The girl shoots an agonizing glare in my direction and I give Tommy a despairing look.

I look completely away from them, out the window, trying to finish up my cigarette.

"You know.. it's not nice to smoke indoors."
I suddenly hear a female voice speak. Jesus fucking christ. Does she know who these men are?

I stare at her from the corner of my eye with an obviously judging look.

"Val, can you please put out your cigarette?"  I hear Tommy plead me.
What the fuck has gotten into him.

"Oh, fuck off. Will you?" I respond, not looking in their direction.

Finally, to my rescue comes Vince. He walks into the kitchen, just as surprised as I am to see the blonde chick standing there besides Tommy.

"I'm not even going to question." He states as he turns towards me.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go out?"
To my luck, he asks me.

"Yes please." I say with an annoyed tone shooting a glare at both Heather's and Tommy's direction.

I quickly get up, putting out my cigarette and heading back upstairs to put some clothes on.
I throw on my classic outfit consisting of a short tight leather skirt, a random tube top i find from my closet considering that I have millions of them and my fur coat. I go back downstairs and meet Vince there.
But surely, Tommy has to ruin everything by interrupting us.
