Paris works on her Chemistry, and it's an introduction to the class.
Paris:
(Talking to herself) Chemistry is a kick wash. It'll get harder though.

Diane suddenly calls Paris down for lunch. Paris puts on her slippers and goes downstairs to the wonderful smell of Chinese.
Int. The Rose's kitchen- a few minutes later.
Diane:
Hey honey, did you get your Chemistry done?
Paris:
Yeah. Just did the Introduction to the class. Pretty easy class day, but I know it will get harder.
Diane:
I'm glad. You know I'm here if you need me.
Scene:
Diane and Paris get their Chinese food out and start to eat. Paris twirls her noodles. Diane watches Paris and Diane smiles.
Diane:
How did I get such a beautiful daughter?
Paris:
(Smiling) Your womb.
Scene:
Diane laughs along with Paris as they finish their Chinese.
Diane:
So, are going to like your classes?
Paris:
Yeah. I like them. (She sighs)
Diane:
What's wrong baby?
Paris:
I just wish dad was here to help me with my work, not that you're doing a job, you are it's just I wish dad was here. He's missed out on so much in my life, and he's going to miss much more.
Diane:
I know baby girl, but he's always with us even though you can't see him.
Paris:
I know. You're right, but in a time like this, it's hard not to think about him, you know?
Diane:
I know. I miss him too. He was my love. My soulmate.
Paris:
I'm sorry mom to bring up painful memories.
Diane:
Those memories were the funniest, and most exciting ones yet.
Paris:
Yeah, I know. Dad was a funny, sweet guy.
Diane:
Yes, he was.
Scene:
Diane and Paris finish their lunch and Paris goes upstairs
Paris:
I think I'm going to the lake to sketch if that's okay.
Diane:
Yeah, of course, it's okay. I'll just be here trying to come up with a plot for a novel that I've wanted to write for a few weeks.
Paris:
You can do it, Mom. I'll be back in an hour or so.
Scene:
Diane nodded and Paris grabbed her sketch bag which was always by the door.
Paris:
Be back soon.
