Act 1, Scene 10

Ext. The lake- after Cameron left

Scene:

While waiting for Cameron, Paris texts Lexi and tells her that everything is doing good. Lexi texts instantly.

I'm glad you're having a good time. Call me after.

Paris answers. Yeah.

Suddenly Camoran came and parked all cool-like.

Cameron

Sushi! I got the California roll.

Paris 

That's cool. It's my favorite.

Scene:

Paris shivers and Cameron sits down next to Paris.

Cameron

Are you cold?                   

Paris   

Yeah, but I'm wet.    

Scene:

  Cameron suddenly gets up and starts rummaging in his truck. He picked up a blanket.     He puts it on her; looking at her with a gleam in his eyes. Paris looks back at him with a smile. He clears his throat.

Cameron

Are you better?

Paris

I am. What time is it?

Cameron 

Six-thirty

Paris     

I need to leave soon.

Cameron

Me too. Would it be okay if I ask you to dance? 

Paris

Uh, I don't think I would be able to.

Cameron

Of course, you can.

Paris

I'm nervous I'll scratch you with my hand. My hand is unpredictable.

Cameron

I'm a big boy. Well almost. You're missing out, Paris.

Scene:

Paris giggles at Camoran's joke.

Paris

Okay. Show me what I've been missing out on.

Scene:

Cameron has a smile like a Diamond. He grabs Paris' hand and puts it on his shoulder gently. He puts his hand on her hips.

Cameron

Now sway your hips awkwardly.

Scene:

Paris chuckles and sways her hips and it's the best feeling ever for her. Cameron spins Paris around. She laughs.

Cameron

It's better with music, but what do you think?

Paris

What the crap have I been missing out on?

Cameron

(Laughs) yeah, it's pretty amazing.

Scene:

Paris checks her phone for the time which displays, 6:45.

Paris

Uhm, I need to get going.

Cameron

Okay. It was fun hanging out with you. I hope to see you soon.

Paris

Yes. Maybe Sunday?

Cameron

I'll text you.

Paris 

Okay. Talk to you later.
