Just some kids and their trait

Patience had left the room a while ago yet Kaylah still felt nervous. She didn't understand, and only now got a question. Why? Why was she chosen? Why was she still afraid? Why was she ALWAYS afraid? Her soul struggled to keep her awake as Kaylah felt a sense of drowsiness.

She considered giving in, but then she thought it was best to explore the room, maybe there was something important. She looked at the desk, but nothing but the desk light showed itself. She then looked at the bookshelf, empty. She looked at the nightstand and found something of worth, a book, with a light blue heart drawn in the middle, it seemed to be glowing light blue. Kaylah looked inside and found a light blue pen. She didn't know what to do with it and out of fear put the book and the pen on the nightstand. Her soul was working extremely hard at this point to keep her awake, but Kaylah realized it wasn't working, and, in making it to the bed, fainted.
Casey walked around the room, unsure of what to do, she'd checked the book, in fact, she had looked around the whole room at this point. Then the realization hit, she was chosen, her, someone who is in a family she didn't truly belong in, someone who had to run away, a once bully. Her, Casey Yuel, was chosen as Bravery, it didn't make any sense, what had she done th-. Memories hit, many memories, and she didn't want to remember any of them. She blocked them out and was now not only bored but horribly confused, angry, sad, she didn't even know herself. She didn't know anything, hopefully.
She started feeling tired as if she hadn't gotten any sleep for the past two days (Which was partly true). She walked to the bed and almost instantly fell asleep or fainted if you noticed a pattern. Her soul couldn't take what the body couldn't since she got Chosen.
Zale, on one hand, was horrified, and on the other was shocked. He was horrified that he was Chosen. He, unlike many others, knew that being a legend was not even close to an easy job and now he was one! He was shocked that Intengrty, a legend, a god, treated him kindly. I mean sure it's basically the name but he was still caught slightly off guard by it, and now on one more hand, he felt stupid. He looked at the desk, walked up to it, and sat down. He didn't quite know why he was doing it, it just felt comfortable. Suddenly the book from the nightstand was on the desk, and open. Zale looked at the blue pencil placed nicely in the rings that helped turn the page. He took out the pen, then put it back closing the book. He didn't know what the book was, and better to be safe than sorry. He went to his bed, and I don't think I even have to say what happened next.
Eilott sat, on the floor, near a plant, zoned out. He tried to think of what happened to let him be chosen, who even chose him, why would anyone choose him? He didn't truly know what to do, so he chose to fall asleep (You should know what this means by now. Stephanie had fainted by now, so there's no point in giving her a whole paragraph.
Kris sat on his bed, shocked at what he was told. He had hardly if ever seen Prevervace before today, and now he knew what others couldn't. It didn't make any sense. He got up, deciding to look around the room, trying to do something useful. He went to the nightstand, took the book, went to his desk, and opened the book.
He saw the purple pen inside the rings and took it out writing a straightforward thing "Day 0.5," and then kept writing. "Today I have been chosen for the trait of Perverce, the most powerful trait there is. I don't quite know how I feel about this change, despite what I'd think I feel making much more sense. Prevervace has told me some things I would never have known after, according to what he said, over 30 minutes after I fainted. He also explained a few more things which should be safe to write here,
No 1-The power(trait): He could not explain this to me well, so this may be incorrect, but the power of making forcefields and a bit of telekinesis on the side.
No 2-The button: See, can see up to five years forward and/or in the past as well as everything to the present. (Note: There is an extra detail that I forgot.)
No 3- The powers(legend):
-Teleportation
-Shapeshifting?
-Diary
-Telepathic talking
Extra notes
-Is the strongest trait?
-Leader of the group (Apart from King and in my case, Angela Star)
-Not lead fighter at all
-The main role, making sure everything works.
That's all he told me I believe, now on to using the diary as one. To be honest, my thoughts are an unorganized mess that I am trying to sort out. I have no clue as to the reason I got my trait, and I don't feel like I deserve it. I don't know how I'm keeping my thoughts so organized here when they're a mess."
Kris planned on adding a sign-off but didn't. He didn't know if he should write anything else, he stayed wondering for 10 minutes until he put the pen back between the rings, and walked to the bed. He sat there for a few minutes, before laying down and trying to fall asleep, it took a while but soon he fell asleep, actually this time.
