Chapter 13 (crazy for love)

We got into the Uber and started heading to my moms house, I gave Rhea the rundown on my family. I stopped talking to my mom a while ago after I moved out and now I really only talk to my dad but he and my mom divorced when I was pretty young so I don't get to see him as much. My leg was bouncing up and down repeatedly and I kept staring out the window just praying that she wouldn't do anything too bad. Rhea put her hand on my thigh to stop it from shaking and she flashed me a slight smile. We turned the corner and now we were on the street, I got hit with hundreds of childhood memories and most of them were the opposite of happy. We arrived at the house and stepped out of the car, "I'm sorry I'm advance and just remember that I love you." She nodded and grabbed my hand as we walked in.

We were greeted by my mom running up to the door and hugging me, "Y/n! It's so good to see you! I have a surprise come follow me!" She kept yelling and she completely ignored Rhea which I found kind of insulting but maybe she wants to show me something important. I follow her into the kitchen and I see Kaid, my childhood best friend I haven't talked to him I'm years but maybe it would be nice to have a reunion. "So y/n as I'm sure you remember this is Kaid and he's here because I thought that you two should start going out." My eyes widened and I realized that she had an ulterior motive for wanting me to visit her. "Listen mom that's nice of you but I already have a partner." I tried to sound calm but inside I was annoyed because who the fuck does that. "Oh, well did you know that Kaid is a doctor? What does your boyfriend do?" She sounded condescending and it pissed me off, "well actually my girlfriend is a wrestler just like me." She rolled her eyes and glared at me, "are you still doing that silly wrestling thing?" I knew that going to dinner was a bad idea. Then Kaid spoke up, "hey let's just start eating before it gets cold." He flashed me a warm friendly smile I could tell that my mom dragged him into this. I left and got Rhea, "I'm sorry we can go if you want?" I told her but she shook her head and dragged me back into the kitchen sitting down next to me. My mom looked like she was shooting daggers into Rhea's head every time she looked at her. "So y/n why don't you just give Kaid a try?" She acted like he was a new toy for me to play with. "Mom I already told you I have a girlfriend." I sounded more annoyed this time cause I hate repeating myself, "that's just a phase y/n stop talking about liking girls and such things!" I clenched my fist under the table and Rhea put her hand on my thigh. "Mom I'm sorry and I know that you don't like it but Rhea is my girlfriend." I blurted it out I know I shouldn't have but I'm tired of her shit, "no child of mine will be gay and I knew that your father never should of put you in wrestling as a kid because it's a guys sport and only a guys sport." It was almost like she didn't care about my feelings at all, I stood up and grabbed Rhea's hand. "Y'know what mom I'm done with your bullshit and I guess I'm not your daughter anymore then!" I slammed my hand on the table and left with Rhea following behind me.

"I'm so sorry I acted like a child back there." I cried into Rhea's hoodie, "no baby she's a Bitch I was gonna punch her if you weren't there. Let's just go back to the hotel now." She hugged me and we made our way back to the hotel. I didn't stop crying the whole way there but Rhea was comforting me the whole time. I fell asleep crying while Rhea held me close to her. I woke up and heard people talking, "guys shh your gonna wake her up!" Someone whisper yelled and It scared me so I opened my eyes and waited for them to adjust to the bright lights. "Good morning?" I didn't know what time it was but it was probably morning. My eyes finally focused and adjusted that's when I saw Dominik, Damian and Rey, I jumped up out of bed and hugged Rey right away. "Why are you here?" I tried to be quiet because I didn't know how early it was, "I told you that I would fly down here to help with your mom." He gave me a tight hug then I moved on to hug Damian and Dominik, "Are we gonna talk about how you hugged my dad before anyone else?" Dominik said while fake crying and I laughed. "Problem?" They all laughed and we started talking, "I love you guys so much." I can't believe that they all flew this far just because I was a little bit upset, I'm this moment I realized that maybe life isn't all bad Y'know? Like sure my mom hates me but I don't need here when I have everyone else to keep me company. "Hey y/n can I ask you something?" Rhea spoke softly like she was nervous for something so I turned to her and put my hand on her hand trying to calm her down. "Anything." I said confidently and she smiled, "this sounds lame and I know that it's a little bit past Valentine's Day but will you be mine forever?" She moved her hand from behind her back and revealed Tulips and a chocolates with a mini teddy bear. "I would love to." She kissed my cheek and hugged me with everyone else cheering, I can tell that we'll be together for a long time no matter what obstacles life throws at us. I love Rhea, Dominik, Damian and even Rey they're like my second family and I would die for them. But hey love makes you do crazy things sometimes.
