[I Caught you!] Cartoon Cat x Reader ((Discontinued))

Back on my Feet.

     "Y/n!! What the hell are you doin'?? What is that thing?" Jorn said holding a hunting rifle to the monstrous cat. Jorn looked like he had been to hell and back, his hair was disheveled, his clothes were tattered and torn and some parts had dirt stains which, from where I am looked like blood stains but I couldn't tell by the tall feline blocking parts of my vision.

     "Darren! Get out of here it's not safe!" I yell at him, he can't be here! This cat thing will most likely kill him if he stays any longer. I need to get of here I-.

*Bam!* 

      A gunshot is fired and lands right in the middle of the Cartoon Cat's eyes. "Come on get out while you still can!" I tried and make my way over to the exit of the mall but I was stopped by the rubber arm wrapping around my wrist.

     "Where do ya think you're goin' MOUSEY?!" Cartoon Cat let out a low growl while pulling me back, his other hand was clutching the spot where Jorn had hit. I could see it reconstruct itself, it made a weird noise, and the best I could describe it was squishy. I couldn't react much other than a surprised yelp, as I was yanked and thrown onto a wall adjacent to the exit. 

     I couldn't pull myself up, I think I broke something, like a rib. Or worse my spine...my vision blurred as I tried to make out what was happening, I saw Cartoon Cat grab Jorn by the leg. I try to scramble to my feet, but the pain in my back makes me wince and fall back down. The best I could do is look back up to see a new figure hovering over the Cartoon Cat.

      "Cartoon Cat." I heard a voice, not precisely a woman's or a man's voice but the voice was smooth and stern, it was kind of scary...
A smell of cinnamon floated in the air I tried to see where it was coming from only to see a horse like-creature made of bones and, from what I could see, flesh. It made a crackling sound as it moved around, its neck seemed to stretch forever, but I could only see a bit of it, as I didn't look any more up, my neck might just be the end of me.

     "Long Horse? What're 'ya doin' here? This is MY territory!" The cat unraveled his grip and dropped Jorn and he landed roughly on his back, he let out a pained grunt when he hit his behind on the concrete ground.

     "I'm here to protect these mortals, as it is my job." The entity, known as 'Long Horse' creeps closer to Cartoon Cat. "As I've done in the past, but of course, humans are so...stubborn." Long Horse talks again.

     "Leave!" Cartoon Cat lashes out now making his gloved hands into claws and then attempting to cut Long Horse. Long Horse is quick to evade the violent attempt, by spinning around Cartoon Cat to now be behind him.

     "For it is futile..." Long Horse says, "You know that cannot work on me." The mythical being quickly recovers from the attempt. "Leave these mortals." Long Horse looms over Cartoon Cat, "You wouldn't be able to go through with it aways." This causes the feline's eye to widen comically but really it was uncomical, then to hiss and retreat into the shadows of the mall.

     "You two should leave as well, it is not safe here, as you had just seen." Long Horse says. 

     Just like that Long Horse leaves, the crunching of its bones starts to withdraw into the unknown. "Y/n...Y/n!" Jorn says as he approaches me with a limp. He lands with a thud but hastily gets up to come to my side.

     "The fuck was all that?!" Jorn says helping me wrap my arm around his shoulder. "That fuckin' cat, and that white horse thing?!"

     "Don't..I don't know!" I say struggling to my feet with the help of Jorn.

      "You don't know?!" Jorn says moving me to face in front of me, "I'm not fuckin' around L/n! You almost got killed for fucks sake!" Jorn shakes me a bit while holding my shoulder.

     "I-I'm sorry Jorn I had no idea that this thing was here!" I lied, I had an idea that this cat monster was here and while searching up its name I did my own little research.

     "Guh...come on Y/n let's get you outta here."

Apple_woman: Obviously one of my shorter chapters, but the school's coming up on my arse so updates are gonna be slow! I'll try my best to catch up when the weekend comes or during Wednesdays! So expect updates on Wednesdays (or not.) Also, I forgot to mention that I'm in the PST timezone, I'm sorry if I end up posting on Thursday in your time!
