Flashback a few weeks ago...

Apple_woman: I Head canon Cartoon Mousr has a stutter and a squeak tic if I make any misunderstandings about this please do tell me!

     The glass shattered as I jumped out the window, Y/n gasped as I did. I sensed someone entering the mall, I can't exactly tell Y/n since "goodbyes" and "see you laters" always take so long. Especially with Y/n.

     I hurriedly make my way to the mall, Long Horse usually makes me go back there for meetings with other cryptids or...ugh family.

     I change back into my, quote, "Monster" form, end-quote. So many humans call us that and honestly it's just hurtful! I mean, what would you feel when someone insults your natural form and you would have to change it for someone else to like it even though you feel perfectly fine in your own fur? People just don't get it huh??

     I enter the mall, ahh, home sweet home. It's definitely been a few days since a human's come here...well other than Y/n of course, hmm...where is Long Horse? And why do I feel a sense of impending doom? Or is it just a familiar feeling?

     "Aoii Cartoon Cat! Long time no see!" Oh God's damn it all! No wonder I felt a familiar presence... it's none other than my ... "Buddy" Cartoon Dog.

     "Ugh..." Oh, and that Cartoon Rat.

     "Oh it's just you, rodent and dog water. How did you two find me, again." When I mean again, I mean it's not the first time these two tracked me down, usually I hate these reunions so I choose the farthest place with the most stingy, old, and most abandoned building there is to be! (Abandoned it's...sorta my thing), well since last time was a total disaster, why did they come back 67 years later?

     "It's not rodent, or rat, or anything else!!! It's MOUSE!!  M-o-u-s-e! MOU-"

     "Yeah, yeah, I hear ya." I wave my hands to shut him up. "What do I, The Cartoon Cat, owe the pleasure of The Cartoon R- Mouse and Dog visiting my humble abode?"

      "Horse forced us, he said something about a human and you?" Dog laughed, "it sounds ridiculous right?"

     "Yeah...hahah uhh ridiculous." Mouse and Dog looked at me suspicion lacing their expressions.

     "Oh no! Cat, y-you didn't do it *squeak* did 'ya?" Mouse says exasperated.
    
     "Don't worry Mouse, I'm sure it's just  another dumb game Cat is playing with his food, right C?" Cartoon Dog faced me looking for my reassurance.

     "Hell yeah! Humans are so gullible first, befriend them! Then I go in for the kill. Simple as that" Realistically, I don't know why I kept that Y/n around, I honestly should have killed them and their friend ages ago. But I didn't

     Maybe I kept them around because of fun? I did say that I wouldn't kill them because of how much more entertaining they are to talk to than the other cryptids, but is that my only reason? I don't know, I can't tell.

     "Always playing games with your food, ey, Cat? You haven't changed brother!" Dog slapped me on my back playfully. "Say, why don't we take a few to catch up? I has been years after all!"
Right, 67 years may not seem like a lot in our life, but a lot can still happen within the time. Just like how someone can die within only a few hours.

     "Alrighty! Have at it, tell me whatcha been up to!"

     Dog talks and talks and talks, Mouse only makes a few corrections to Dog's stories, he mentioned that once in his time of trying to follow me he met up with a Country Road Creature, or something like that, CRC's are a species (unfortunately, they are more annoying to deal with than you would think!) And they can definitely put up a chase!
