Haechan pressed himself against the wooden door as much as he could, his ears straining to catch the words on the other side of it. Occasionally, his eyes would dart around the now empty corridor, anxiously looking out for anyone that could lead him into unwanted trouble.

He isn't usually nosy in the affairs of the Orphanage staff, finding the meticulous handling of a large compound to be overly boring, but the sudden scream of the Head House,Mr. Shin, coming from his office made Haechan stopoed in his tracks, the game of hide and seek he was playing with the others completely forgotten as he carefully made his way to the room.

There wasn't ever much arguments between the two, but Mr. Shin and his assistant had always been strained with one another; The downside of brothers working together and not having equal postitions.

"We can't keep going on like this!" Came the muffled voice of the second Mr. Shin, or Hansol hyung as most of the boys would call him.
"There just isn't enough to sustain us if we do."
An unreadable silence fleeted through the tension for just a second, fooling Haechan into thinking the argument had ended, only for a loud slam to break it followed by the Head of the Orphanage's voice.

"You keep that mouth of yours shut!" Mr. Shin bellowed, the anger and threat in his voice causing Haechan to flinch.

"Who do you think is responsible for keeping this place alive? Who does all the work that actually matters in the end? How dare you talk about sust-"

"You're going to do this?" Hansol chipped in before his brother could even finish what he was saying. A strong hint of devastation in his own voice. "The one thing we have to finally clear out our names and you're going to play the "Who gave more" card? You of all people should know what it costed us both to inherit this place."

"Enough! Leave!"

It was a split second,Haechan couldn't wrap his head around what he had just heard, but those two words alone meant that whatever it was they were going on about was over, and now he had to leave before anyone caught him.

Without wasting anymore time, just before the gentle 'click' of the door came, Haechan was already scurrying the opposite side, somehow determined to find out what that argument was about.

Maybe if he went to see Mark about it, they could piece it up together with the rest.

You didn't tell the boys, but tonight you woke up in a cold sweat. Your heart hammered in your chest and it was like you were experiencing a sort of panicky after shock as your gaze searched for something in the dimness of your room. As if something was lying in wait for you to notice it.

And then, when you finally mustered up enough sense, you got up and slipped out of your night gown, exchanging it for your usual every day attire instead before heading off to the ballroom.

Staring at the door like you usually do before pushing it open, you suddenly felt how surreal this all was. It was an odd sense of feeling, one you still found yourself questioning every now and then, asking out in the open to whoever it was listening if this was really reality.

Pushing the door open, you put that thought aside.

This time as the boys all turned to you from where they were all gathered up together near the grand piano, you hesitated a bit to enter when you took note of how both Renjun and Haechan were frowning as they sent glares to one another.

And then, rather timidly, Jisung began walking up to you.

"Uh,hi." The boy greeted shyly which was a great contrast to his deep voice.
