7 : angel

Y/N was walking to her cubicle when suddenly Jimin called her from behind. She looked at him but then again frowned because he looked too serious. He held her wrist and took her to his cubicle locking the door.

"What's wrong with you?" You awkwardly laughed, perplexed, getting no response from him. He too gave out a laugh nervously and cleared his throat.

"A-actually I had something to ask." He rubbed his neck as you looked at him expectantly. "See I thought to ask you about it tomorrow but I couldn't keep up with my curiosity."

"Go ahead" you said taking a deep breath because the man before you was behaving absolutely absurd in your eyes. "Just answer me a question" he said to which you nodded.

"Are you perhaps adopted?" The moment he asked this you left a gasp and widened your eyes slightly not expecting this. You suddenly felt very uncomfortable when asked about something you never knew someone could ask you.

As if knowing your condition he immediately took a hold of your hands as you looked at him with big bambi eyes. "Please answer Y/N" he said, desperation visible in his eyes.

You didn't knew what to do but all you knew was you weren't going to lie him. Also from the last few days you have noticed him trying out to find more about you and you wanted answers for that. Not that you didn't trust him, but it was all too sudden.

You just nodded at him and his furrowed eyebrows straightened as he asked her one more question. "Have you tried to know about your family?" You again nodded at him.

A smile suddenly surfaced on his face and you still looked at him with a questioning gaze. "So what did you find out?" He said to which you finally opened your mouth to answer.

"I know from appa and eomma, I mean Mr and Mrs Lee that my parents died in a accident and-" you could see a glint in his eyes as you said that. "And?" He asked almost immediately.

"And that I have a brother to who is alive but I don't know where he is or how he is. I mean how would I know when I was just a year old?" You laughed nervously.

He didn't say anything but you could see tears forming in his eyes. He came forward and gave you a hug which surprised you but you nonetheless hugged him back. His embrace was comfortable and very known.

You were getting it all now. You too have noticed many similarities between you. You shrugged off the thoughts thinking it was nothing but not when the doubt kept getting strong. He didn't say anything but you knew what he was feeling.

He had probably found his sister, his angel after fifteen years now.

You didn't wanted to jump into conclusions but it was very true that you had found a very great bond with him and when you found that you even have same things in common you couldn't help but think you have found him. Your brother.

He didn't broke the hug but detached himself a bit to look at you. "So?" "So what?" You asked back having a slight smile on your face. "Are you someone I know?" He asked with a hint of mischief in your eyes.

"I think so but how should I believe?" You said with a giggle as well. To this his expression suddenly changed into a serious one. "Have you ever seen your childhood photos? Or have known about our family more?" He asked and you thought for a while and nodded.

"I have seen, a family picture. There are two people probably my parents and my brother, probably... you" you said looking at him. He smiled ever so beautifully.

You had a locket which is since with you forever, and that is where you have seen your family. The only picture you own. You have tried finding your brother ever since you got to know about it as a teenager but you could not because he had went abroad to studies and you did not even knew his name. Because Mr Lee and Mrs Lee had adopted you very earlier since they had no child and wanted to start a family.

It was not impossible to search for it. But there were so many things happening with you that time that you slowly could not pay attention on the topic much. Now that everything is so beautiful in your life, this one thing of finding your brother, is adding up to your epitome of happiness.

Jimin too had engrossed himself in work , but your thoughts never left his mind. He was shifted with his aunt and uncle to a different city because the trauma of his uncle loosing his brother and sister in law was painful. The car was burnt in ashes and so there was no trace left as for his parents. He only knew her sister was taken away to the nearest hospital, but that was too late to be known because you were already adopted by that time.

"I have some too, to make sure of our doubts, let's look out after the photos. And also, we can have a DNA test-" he looked at you right in your eyes. "-I just want this to be real, that I have finally found you, my angel"

You too had tears in your eyes by now as you sniffed laughing at him. "You have waited for a long time, maybe this time you have really found your angel, I can feel it."

"Let's go for a test tomorrow only if your boss leaves you free. Seriously! He makes you work a lot!" He huffed. You widened your eyes. "You noticed it too right?! That coldie" you twisted your mouth. He just laughed and detached you from himself. You both wiped your tears giggling.

"He must have a reason for keeping a girl this close to him" he said with a smirk to which you scoffed. "As if he likes me!" You rolled your eyes at the thought itself.

"Who knows?" He said with a giggle and you slapped his arm. "Anyways I will always root for you both to be together, you both look cute together!"

You looked boringly at him. "Never in a million dreams" you said and dropped your expression into a serious way. "Anyways me being your brother and his best friend gives me the responsibility to make sure you become close" you whined at it because he was speaking absolute nonsense!

"Are you sure you are my brother yet?!" You asked with a smirk. "Biological or not, you are still like my sister" he said ruffling your hair to which you smiled showing him a thumps up.

And out of a sudden there was a loud bang of the door and entered your dear boss, Kim Taehyung, looking at both of you from head to toe. "Are you done being all lovey dovey Miss Lee?" He asked rolling his eyes.

You were about to answer but he cutted you off. "But the most important question! What are you doing here in his cabin?! Don't you know we have a meeting to attend?" He looked at Jimin.

He squinted his eyes and asked Jimin, "what were you trying to do here, don't you know it's a workplace?" "Why, are you jealous?" Asked Jimin with a smirk lingering on his face. You just looked at both of them moving your head from Taehyung to Jimin.

You cleared your throat, "Mr. Kim he called me to ask about some files" you said looking straight into his eyes. "You expect me to believe that?" He asked folding his arms infront of his chest. "Why do you care Mr. Kim? You asked with a smirk.

He scoffed. "It's not like I really care!" He huffed out angrily. "Alright, let's go then. Don't we have a meeting to attend or are we going to be debating about this the whole night?"

It was your time squinting your eyes at him. He gave a sharp glare to both of you. He opened the top button of his shirt and turned around blunting out a "follow me" to you.

You looked at Jimin with your finger on his head, indicating he is crazy sign to which he laughed out loud. You waved a bye to him and turned around going after your boss or he might again find a reason to scold you.

Jimin stood there with a smile constantly lingering on his lips. They are definitely the cutest. He thought shaking his head.
