𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐊𝐈𝐌 [𝗈𝗇 𝗁𝗈𝗅𝖽]

9 : fluttering hearts

Today was the day you were going to take the DNA test. Both you and Jimin were confident that this was going to be positive and that you both were blood related brother and sister. This was because the family pictures you both had were very similar. But still there was a slight worry in your eyes because you truly wanted this to be real.

You were now sitting on the bench waiting for your call for the test. Sensing your worries, Jimin took your hand in his and gave it a light squeeze making you smile and he too smiled back. You looked at your side only to see your boss giving you thumps up as an assurance as well with a smile.

You didn't knew your boss was such a softie to his best friend that he even came with you and Jimin for the test rescheduling his meetings for the day. Soulmates indeed.

He raised his eyebrow when you didn't gave any reaction and hence you nodded to him. He was doing so many things to you and not to mention the butterflies that have been erupting in your stomach ever since the incident few days back on that rainy night. It was neither all cool with him.

He himself didn't knew how he said those things to you that day.

"I had a good time talking to you tonight and I am eager to spend more nights like this"

He didn't lie when he said those things. For the first time someone was making a way to his heart and he didn't wanted to deny his feelings. He was a workaholic, too busy in his work to fall in love with someone but you managed to make him think about you even for a slight second when you were away from him.

He was feeling like a teenager who could jump around happily when his crush gave him attention. Jimin cleared his throat looking at both of you who were practically staring at each other without blinking your eyes.

The blush was evident on both of your faces as you two looked away from each other. The way he was looking at you surely made you fall for him more. Afterall who can resist the Kim Taehyung?

Your and Jimin's name was announced by the receptionist as you took a deep breathe and giving a nod to him, stood up to get into the doctor's cabin. Taehyung decided to stay back until you both come back.

You both sat infront of the doctor who was checking the reports of the test you gave some time back. He looked at both of you and you felt your heartbeats increasing so you held Jimin's hand tightly and he did the same.

Sensing your nervousness, the doctor just chuckled. "Mr Park and Miss Lee, I want you to relax and listen to me" you both nodded your head eagerly to his words. "So, I had collected the sample of your buccal swabs for doing the test and I have the results with me now"

"Two siblings which are blood related can have approximately 50% of their DNA of inherited gene variants" You both were looking at him with your big bambi eyes anticipating for him to state further. Even this little similar gesture of yours would make one know you were siblings.

He smiled a little before stating further. "You would be glad to know that your genetics match a lot to each other inherited from both of your parents. Congrats to you, you both are blood related siblings"

The moment the doctor said that you felt your breath normalising and you looked at Jimin only to see him having tears in his eyes. You stood up holding his hands and without saying anything hugged him tight to which he hugged you even more tightly.

You both had no words to say because what both of your hearts felt was indescribable. Breaking the hug he looked at you and pecked your forehead. You both smiled at each other, that crescent smile you both had.

"Found you back didn't I?" He said giggling a little. "You definitely did jiminieeee" you said giggling back to which he gasped a little. "Shouldn't you be calling me oppa?" He said to which you nodded your head sideways denying him with a grin. "Anything you want" he said patting your head.

Getting out of the cabin you saw an anxious taehyung roaming back and forth folding his hands. As he caught a glance of you both he sprinted with urgent steps to you looking expectantly. You both were not showing any emotion on your face which made him worried sick.

"It's okay you can still be brother and- " he was cut off by you and Jimin laughing out as he looked at both of you confusingly. "Meet my sister, Y/N" Jimin said indicating to you and that was the moment when Taehyung's face finally relaxed and was surfaced with a huge boxy smile.

He engulfed his best friend in a tight hug congratulating him and you looked at the duo with a loving gaze. They indeed were the best example of friendship. Taehyung looked at you as you gave him a smile. He came to you muttering a small 'congrats' with a wide smile.

But what took you by surprise was him hugging you tightly and spinning you around. You looked around only to find everyone's gaze on you as you bit down your lip suppressing your smile.

Jimin just chuckled moving his head sideways looking at the two adorable people before him. Taehyung who was spinning you happily suddenly realised what he was doing out of excitement and hence put you down.

He cleared his throat looking at you with his face adorned with a blush. "Well I was just too excited so-" he started. "I don't mind" you said almost immediately and giggled at him.

Oh there went the crazy heartbeats of his. He just blushed a little and nodded at you all in smiles. "May I have your attention my dears?" Jimin said with a little smirk as you both looked at him now shy to face him.

"Since it's a good day for all of us, let's party! Lunch is on me!" He said and you jumped around happily. "Let's go then!" You said and started hoping to the way of exit.

Jimin wrapped a shoulder around Taehyung as he looked at him. "Don't you think you blush a lot nowadays?" Jimin said mischievously to which Taehyung frowned. "There is nothing like that Jimin!" He exclaimed and stormed outside, leaving a chuckling Jimin behind.
