Dancing with the enemy

Chapter 2: Dancing.

(This chapter will have dancing and a bit of kissing.. JK! 🫣 also! If it shows this "-.-.-." It's fast forwarding!)

FLIPPYS POV:

I ran away from the masquerade as I saw it getting crowded quickly, I wasn't really the person suited for this type of stuff. And anyway someone might have opened a champagne bottle, you know how that went fliqpy..

As i followed a hidden path it took me to beautiful garden. The scenery, the plants, the view, everything was so breathtaking!

As I went farther through the path I saw a medium sized gazebo and planted myself inside of it and stared at the beautiful sky which was all black by now with only the stars showing.

I heard rustling from a bush, maybe it's an enemy! Let me out NOW! No it must be a wild animal.

I then saw a short timid girl going inside the gazebo and I saw her go on the opposite side of the gazebo and saw her in the corner of my eye seeing her resting her head inside her arms on the framework of the gazebo.

She's really pretty..

FLAKYS POV:

I felt the male staring at me I didn't think much of it, I just thought of it that he was analyzing me.

CLINK CLINK

I quickly turned my head behind me and realized that they were letting people in right now, I speed walked out of the hidden garden and went to the front of the building and started walking towards the opened door.

Oh shoot! I froze for a moment, I lightly placed the mask on my face and continued walking through the door.

I was inside the beautiful mansion and I saw everyone sigh I was lucky everyone was wearing a mask because I might've fainted with a crowd like this.

"Everyone shall now start dancing" the host yelled with a grin planted on his face, I couldn't see what he looked like that much..

"Oh what luck!" I thought with annoyance, no wanted to partner up with me for the first dance so I waited it out since my target already was dancing with a female with short pink hair.

I could see "Flippy" was getting a bit annoyed.

The second dance was tango. I was pretty good at tango since I took lessons when I was younger but only for a bit.

I then rushed over to flippy and asked him to dance.

"E-erm care to d-dance?.." i softly spoke with my head down staring at my heels "Don't I ask you first?" He said with laughter I started turning red from embarrassment "Care to dance?" He said with a grin "O-of course!" I mumbled.

He then grabbed my wrist and we were in the middle of the floor, he of course was taking lead.

I could feel everyone staring at us.

I analyzed what he looked like; green hair, dark green eyes, very tall, and broad.

Even though his mask was covering his face i felt like i was falling inlov-

-WAIT I CANT LOVE HIM HES MY TARGET AND I JUST MET HIM!?

There must something wron-

I saw him, his grip got harder and I saw him pull me closer for us dancing. I could feel his heart beating it was like a melody repeating over and over again.

I felt like everyone disappeared and it was just the two of us.

"How about we meet up stairs in the east hallway? The library's there." He whispered to me.

UGH EVEN HIS WHISPERING FELT HOT!!

I could feel myself heating up but he couldn't tell since of my mask. "O-oh y-yeah!" I softly said.

And that was that.
