Dancing with the enemy

Chapter 4: The park.

(Authors note: yay I made a long chapter!!)

I quickly woke up in my bed panting like I ran a marathon, then I quickly touched my neck making sure there wasn't a slit there. I saw my window open so I got up and closed it.

Strange..

I stretched a bit and walked slowly but carefully to my bathroom across the hall. I looked in the mirror just to see my neck looking a bit red at the area my neck was opened at.

I brushed my teeth and placed my hair into a messy low ponytail and then walked back into my room and laid down on my bed, I noticed my phone was blowing up with messages.

Some were from lammy asking where I was and stuff like that but I looked through my notifications and found a few messages from a unknown number..

I opened up the messages from them and my face went pale kinda.

How did flippy find my number?..

I want to make it up to you! How about we meet up today at the park at 3pm?

Uh yes this is flaky and sure, but a question. How did you get my phone number?

Oh! I'm sorry about that but after fliqpy killed you i reverted back to myself I feel so guilty.. so I found your phone number on your phone so we can chat more!

It's fine I been killed so many times ahaha.. but I'll meet you at the park!

I quickly realized the time on my phone that it was 1:36PM "W-woah I overslept.." I mumbled out, I sprinted to my closet almost tripping on random pieces of clothing on the floor and finally made it safely to my closet's door.

I opened the door and put on my usual look; a red long frumpy sweater that was cute that lammy picked out for me when we went shopping a few months back, a black long sleeved shirt that had a square neck hole, denim shorts, and last but not least! My uggs!

Oh I dearly loved my uggs, since they almost matched everything I wear!

I looked at my phone for the time again, 2:46pm..

SHOOT! I ran out my room and grabbed my car keys and hopped into my car. I turned on the vehicle and drove to the park.

It took about 20 minutes and I couldn't have been more late! When I finally made it I parked my car in the parking lot and got out of the car.

I texted flippy and told him I was here and asked him where he was.

I saw the male near a tree that was close to the park's path I ran towards him and when I finally got near him I started panting.

"Er flaky are you ok?.." flippy said to me "Y-y-yea, it's just hard running being quite short.." I muttered "Oh than I can pick you up!" He yelled out, I'm pretty sure everyone stared at us thinking we were a couple.. "W-wait f-flippy you don't have t-to!" I told him "No it's fine and think of it that I'm repaying you from the other night." He responded back.

He then scooped me into his arms and carried me bridal style!? "See flaky your light as a feather!" Flippy laughed out, I was dying of my blush!! After he put my down we started walking I checked the time and saw it was 7pm, I barely noticed the sky turning dark..

I saw one of my best friends on a hill, it looked like a picnic?.. "Hey flaky!!" Cuddles yelled out to me waving his hands. I dashed to where he was and we hugged "C-cuddles what a-are you d-doing here?.." I softly told him "Well toothy wanted to set off some fire works!" Cuddles said to me.

"O-Oh n-no!!" I said to my self I grabbed flippys hand and tried to tell him that they were shooting fireworks but to late..

All I saw was red and everyone screaming. I was hiding up in a tree and I was glued onto the branch sobbing quietly.

I then heard flipp- I mean fliqpy, laughing hysterically and then I heard his boots coming near this tree..I was frozen and stuck onto this branch how was I going to survive?!?

"Your not that great at hiding red." The male barked out, I quickly went pale how did he see me? I was clearly not visible since all I was surrounded by was leaves.

He then started climbing up the tree, while i stayed still trembling. I knew I couldn't go to the end of the branch because that would backfire and I'll probably die a painful death..

I tried thinking of a plan until I saw fliqpy climbing on the branch I was at, my lip was quivering and and stood still with a look of fear on my face.

As fliqpy got onto the branch he sat down near me kinda and stood still, while touching what seemed to be a Swiss knife in his hands?..

"You cry and stutter too much red." The male yelled under his breath "I-i-im s-sorry.." I mumbled while looking down with tears streaming across my face, all I could do was cry.

The male leaned towards me and I flinched a bit thinking I was going to get my head bashed or something like that, but he still went towards me and hugged me. He placed my head against his chest within the hug and I heard him say something but I thought nothing of it.

"Look im sorry, k?" He softly told me, I then looked into his eyes and nodded and gave him a awkward smile.
