Dean finds Rowena sipping tea in the library. He stands in front of her abruptly."I need to ask a favor." He grumbles.
Rowena looks at him, surprise spreading across her face. "If you're asking me for help, you must but desperate, dear."
"Don't make this harder than it already is." Dean growls back.
"Well, what can I do for you?" She sips from her cup again.
Dean sits down in the chair opposite her. "I'm still having dreams of Freya and they're getting stronger. I want you to tell me if there is some spell or hex at work."
"I doubt that she would do something like that. My daughter is possible of many things but love spells, unlikely." She replies.
Dean clears his throat and lowers his voice. "Please, Rowena? I need to know." he struggles through clenched teeth.
"Since you asked so nicely." She rises and stands in front of Dean.
She whispers a few words in Latin as her eyes glow purple. Her hands trace an outline from his head down past his shoulders. She brings her hands up resting her palms on each side of his head. She can see his dreams, all of them. She gasps a little at his most recent dream. She sees him standing behind you, as you look in a mirror. He softly kisses your neck as his hands come up to caress your very swollen belly. Her eyes open instantly blinking to hold back a tear.
"What? What did you see?" He quickly asks her.
"I promise you it's not any spell or hex, my dear." She says sitting back down and quickly taking a sip of her hot tea.
"Why am I having these dreams then? Why can't I seem to get her out of my head?" Frustration filled his voice.
"It's not my place to say. It's something that you need to hear from Freya herself. I suggest you get over your anger, find her and talk to her." Rowena says with a soft smile.
Dean is a little relieved that there is no spell or hex but is unsettled by Rowena's comment. "That doesn't really make me feel really confident but thanks." He replies with a roll of his eyes.
"Go talk to her, dear. You need to know the truth." Rowena touches his arm lightly.
Again Dean is unsettled by her statement. What more are you hiding from him?He takes a deep breath, stands up, and nods his head in thanks to Rowena.
He walks the halls of the bunker for the next hour when he runs into Sam for the third time."Are you walking in circles?" He questions.
"Rowena says I need to talk to Freya about my....about something. Every time I start to walk down the hall to her I end up turning the other direction." He says with frustration in his voice.
"So what's going on?" Sam asks unaware of Dean's dreams.
"It's... it's just everything with Freya." Dean stammers back.
"I know you, Dean. What's really bothering you?" Sam knows it's not like Dean to let something like this get under his skin so easily.
Dean runs his hands over his face and then shoves them in his pockets. "From the first night we met Freya I've been having dreams of her. The last couple of days have gotten worse, Sammy. They're so real and I can't shake them."
Sam shifts his weight on his feet looking at his brother's body language. "If it's got you this worked up then I agree with Rowena. You need to talk this out with Freya. I know you've been avoiding her the last few days and it's obviously affecting both of you. Bite the bullet and talk to her, man."
