Unable to climb the stairs, Clara-Rose had settled Caity on her sofa, and rubbed cream on her hands and muscles, while getting to know her sister's friends, smiling as she watched Emily, ecstatic in front of her wife.
"Sorry if I drool sometimes, but I've been such a fan since your first movie. If one day you break something or injure yourself, don't hesitate to call me.
— Uh, it's nice, creepy, but nice.
— Emily is a nurse at the General.
— Ah, it's better with subtitles," laughs Julia. "And you?
— Elementary school teacher.
— But how did you meet Caity?" asks Clara-Rose, curious, her sister having fallen asleep.
"A few days ago, she faced me in a friendly MMA fight and beat me, brutally. But she helped me out of the cage and accompanied me to my dressing room. Ahhh, she didn't tell you. His aunt, Mary Stone, was there.
— Mom? Did you know that, Julia?
— No, I wasn't aware."
Clara-Rose looks at Caity, wondering what's been wrong with her for a while, she seems distant, sad, euphoric.
She is close to depression.
"What can I do to thank you for bringing her back?" asks Clara-Rose.
"Caity is a friend, it's normal, we didn't do this for an award or anything.
— Emily, you want a selfie, don't you? Go ahead, spoil yourself, then, when you're on vacation, call this number, you'll come join me on the set of my new movie, we're shooting some scenes on the side of Malibu.
— I'm available tomorrow," excites Emily, making Julia burst out laughing.
"You know what, come here tomorrow morning at six o'clock, we'll leave together, you spend the day with me and I'll bring you back. Mary will be there too and some stars whose name you will have to keep quiet.
— I'll be a tomb," smiled Emily, looking at her sister.
"Oh!" Julia snaps her fingers. "Holly Tombs! It's you! Dressed, hair and makeup I had trouble recognizing you. Caity beat you? But you are... and well of course, it's Caity.
— She is strong, very strong. An interesting, yet brutal combat technique.
— She's my big sister, my mother's first pupil," smiled Clara-Rose.
"Okay, we'll leave you with the family, are you coming Emily?
— I expect you tomorrow morning, at five past six, I'm leaving.
— I would be there, Madam, I would not miss it for the world. I wanted to tell you, I saw Caity this morning at the hospital, she came to see one of her clients, she was in a very good mood when she left waving at me. I don't know what happened today, but something put her in a really bad mood.
— Thanks, Emily, I'll dig that up. The house is open to friends, come by whenever you want, the only condition, no photo and video without our knowledge or revealing where Julia lives, otherwise Caity will be released on you.
— Never! I appreciate you even more to see where you live, despite the success, you live in a normal house, not in a secure and guarded mansion. You have remained humble, it adds even more to what you represent.
— Thank you, Emily. The next step, the kiss," laughs Julia, hugging Emily. "Come on, see you tomorrow! Holly, I didn't get to see you in person, but I was shown one of your fights, I like it. If I slot you in, would you be interested in shooting something with me, just to see? I have a script in hand and I'm starting to look at who to take. There is a role, I say to myself, why not.
