Caity stands against the wall at the back of the classroom, nervous. Emily stands next to her, smiling. This is not the first time that she has come to talk about her job as a nurse to children. For the occasion, she put on her outfit that she uses every time. She senses her nervousness and slips her hand into Caity's as they listen to an accountant talk about her exciting job. When it's Emily's turn, she captivates the girls and a few boys. Her number is well established and she answers questions seriously. Encouraged by Emily and Holly, Caity talks about her career as a lawyer until one of the little girls recognizes her from seeing it on TV, eventually bonding with her teacher. Suddenly, all the children are interested in Holly and Caity, some little girls wanting to learn to defend themselves against boys, others to make movies. As le bell rang, Holly thanked all the parents who came, thanking her sister, once again, and hugging Caity.
"Hey," blow that last one. "I saw a poster for a fundraiser for children's school outings. You can see with the management for the organization of a friendly fight, headlining, you and me.
— Are you serious, Caity? No, you're pregnant, I'll remind you.
— You're right. I could talk to Julia about it, the public will pay to see her.
— That would be nice, that's for sure, but she's busy.
— It's for a good cause.
— There will be a whole management for parking, security.
— We'll discuss it, we'll think about what happens next. I will see with Julia if she is interested, then you will see with your management, then we will see the rest.
— Thank you, Caity."
Leaving the classroom, she finds Emily waiting for her, and they walk quietly to the parking lot, Caity telling her about her idea.
"Me, personally, I'd rather you not get in the ring, Caity. Even though I know you want to. You don't have to think of yourself first anymore, but of him, or her," she said, placing her hand on Caity's stomach. "Your child comes first, now.
— I know, Emily," she confirms, hugging her friend before walking her to her car.
"You were great with the kids today, did you see their eyes light up when you were talking to them? You might have inspired one of the kids to go to law school today," smiles Emily, buckling her seatbelt as Caity leans on the open window. Leaning in when Emily turns her head in her direction, she kisses her tenderly, Emily resting a hand on the back of her neck, until Caity pulls away.
"Uh, what was that?" Emily asks, surprised.
"I wanted to kiss you there. I don't know. It's embarrassing. Excuse me, Emily. It's probably my hormones.
— We'll say that," she smiled as she started her car. "Bye, Caity, we'll call later!"
Caity sits behind the wheel, thoughtful, then, looking at the time, she heads to the studio wanting to get her sister's opinion, as a psychologist, just like Ella's. Settled on a loveseat, the two listen to her talking about her love life from her first time to her kiss with Emily. Clara-Rose doesn't judge her, she even understands her. Growing up in a family like theirs has meant that their relationship to sexuality has always been ambiguous. Herself sleeping with Harper, more or less her brother. His estrangement in New York and his meeting with Ella probably saved them, otherwise they would probably still be together, in an unhealthy climate. Caity was luckier having a father, Sean, and a family, but homosexuality was an integral part of her life. She likes sex with men, but can't stand them. Her masculine side being quite developed, she sees sex as a fight, which is why her partners are either her friend from the MMA club, or men she chooses according to their stamina. Sexually, she never knew sweetness until her kiss with Krista and the one with Emily.
