The whole Brady clan had gathered at the hospital to await the arrival of the newest family member. Shawn D looked at Marlena, and asked her, "How long does it take to have a baby anyway, because I feel like my Mom has been in there for hours."

"Some babies come quickly, and some don't, but your Mom has done this before, and her body knows what to do," Marlena said softly, rocking Alais against her chest. The girl was teething and incredibly uncomfortable. She looked over to see Sami checking on Thomas as he slept in his carrier.

"But my Mom had me seven years ago...so maybe her body forgot what to do?" Shawn D said. "Could that happen, 'cause it's been a long, long time."

The door opened, and Bo came into the waiting area with a huge smile on his face, "It's a girl!"

The whole family roared, and Caroline asked, "How is Hope?"

"She's fine. She's tired, but she's fine. We want...we want everyone to come meet our daughter, and then Shawn D will have the honor of telling you her name," Bo told them.

Sami laughed, looking at her cousin, "How did you manage not to tell that secret?"

Shawn D leaned close to her, and whispered, "'Cause I keep forgettin' it."

John started laughing and scooped the boy up, "Let's go meet your sister."

Inside Hope's hospital room, they all gazed upon the most beautiful baby girl. A girl with deep blue eyes, and dark brown curls. Marlena stepped close, still cradling Alais, and she said softly, "She's beautiful, Hope. Absolutely beautiful."

Shawn said loudly, "So? What be the name of this wee one?"

Shawn D looked at his Dad, and said, "I forgot again." Bo leaned forward, whispering in his sons ear, and Shawn D smiled, saying, "Oh, yeah!"

Eric laughed, "Well, tell us brat."

"My new sisters name is Marly Victoria Brady, 'cause of Aunt Marlena and my Grandpa Victor."

Marlena felt the tears start, as she whispered, "Marly?" It was as if her life had come full circle. She remembered her childhood with Samantha, and how her sister called her Marly, and she looked at the baby in Hope's arms, whispering, "Marly...oh, you beautiful baby girl!"
