So I apologize for not updating, but shit happens. I was gone from the internet one Friday and Monday, so every update this week is going to be a day late. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I really do love you all for taking the time to read my story.

Classes went by. Natsu was left in the infirmary after his "Fight" with Gildarts this morning. I wouldn't classify it as a fight though. More of an utter defeat of Natsu. Soon enough, I was at lunch, surrounded by all of my friends, and even a few more people I hadn't met before.
Wendy was one of the most adorable people in the entire world. She made my inner fangirl, well, fangirl.
Lunch went by quickly. Natsu was released from the infirmary with about five minutes left of the lunch period. It was really too bad. I was hoping to spend the entire day with the pinkette, but he was stupid and went and got into a fight.
We didn't have the next class together either. Everyone had an independent study of their magic. Mages would train their magic with someone who was experienced in the magic. There wasn't anyone here at this school who knew much about Celestial magic, so I was told to just go to the library and find information myself.
Natsu had a small class of three were they were taught by a man named Laxus Dreyer, who was Master Makorov's grandson, and apparently, the Lightning Dragon Slayer.
Levy's magic was all about books and learning new words, so she would spend time with me in the library. I wouldn't be completely alone for the next hour and half!
The bell rang. People went to throw away their treys. I didn't have to worry about that because I had finished my lunch almost fifteen minutes ago. Natsu, Levy, and I made our way out of the cafeteria. The rest of our friends had to go the other way.
People were rushing to get to their classes, which were all over the place. Natsu told me his classroom was pretty close to the library, so he would just walk with me. This is why he is my best friend.
When we made it to the library, Levy walked in, leaving Natsu and I alone. I thought I saw her wink at us. Even if she didn't, my face still flushed a beat red. Thankfully, the pinkette didn't notice anything.
"So how was the infirmary?" I asked him, leaning on the wall next to the door. He was bandaged up a little bit, but I was told this is nothing than what has happened to him. He had a band aid on his left cheek and his right shoulder was bandaged up as well.
He grinned that heart-stopping grin. "It was boring without you there." I blushed even more. Why did he have this effect on me? We were just friends, and I had only just met him a week ago.
It may be to early to admit that I like him, but I did think about this a lot last night. Maybe I did like him like how Erza, Juvia, and Levy suggested. But it didn't matter. Natsu was to dense for romance. The thing he had just said wasn't meant to be romantic. He was just being a great best friend.
I decided to laugh, hoping it will ease my thoughts. He laughed with me. "Yeah. I bet if I was there, We would somehow manage to blow something up." I joked. We always seemed to create damage while together.
However, his smile faded, and when his died, mine did too. "Don't tell me you actually blew something up."
"They had to give me a shot, so I accidently set a bed on fire." He admitted, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. I shook my head. My best friend, everybody.
Before I could respond to him, The warning bell rang. That meant he had to run to get to his class is he didn't want to be late. Natsu quickly pulled me into a hug. Because of his magic, his body temputure was extremely high, but I wasn't complaining. I actually quite enjoyed it. It made me warm and fuzzy.
"Have fun and learn something." He whispered into my ear. It sent shivers through my body. He let go and took off down the hallway.
"Please walk, Mr. Dragneel!" A teacher shouted, but my fire- headed best friend just kept running.
"BYE LUCE! I'LL SEE YOU NEXT HOUR!" Natsu shouted as he rounded the corner, disappearing from my eye. I sighed out.
"I'll see you too."
