It was the third date and Wednesday Addams was really nervous for the first time. How should she act? What should she do?

She knew she wanted Larissa. And Ancestor stands by her, what fantasies she had when it came to Larissa.  She had spent years grieving, years just wishing she could touch this woman just once, and now she stood in her bedroom not knowing how to act.

Ridiculous, she chided herself. She was an Addams. An Addams does not run away and certainly not from a woman.

Thing sat on her table and patted her hand. He was trying to reassure her in his own way. She looked at him, her eyes wide.

"How do I look?" she asked, turning as he raised his thumb.

Wednesday was wearing tight black leather pants with a low-cut black top and a black leather jacket.

She looked at Thing again and asked," 3",5" or 5.7" boots?"

Thing pretended to think and pointed to the high boots.

Wednesday smiled at him and replied." Yeah, I thought so too. It just looks better in there. Thank you. You're the best advisor.

Seriously."

Thing played a bow and then tapped the table wildly to get Wednesday's attention.

"What, oh crap, thanks Thing. I'll have to hurry or I'll be late."

One last check in the mirror, a little straightening here and there and she was in her car.

Larissa had invited her to her place for dinner. But first she drove to her office. She had flowers there, which were rare and for certain occasions. This was a special occasion, she thought firmly, and she wanted to bring something as a thank you.

When she got there, she went with her scissors and neatly cut 5 stems of her Montbretias.

She knew Larissa would love them. Inside the depths they were dark reddish purple, while the bloom ran upwards into snowy white. From the outside they almost looked like they were black violets.

A stunning, slightly poisonous, yet fascinating plant that suited Larissa perfectly. A rarity that she cherished and cared for. Tied up and tucked away, she drove on and just managed to arrive on time.

When she arrived at the door, it was opened for her before she could even ring the bell. She smiled as she entered.

"That smells heavenly, my dear," she said and got a smile back.

"Thank you, Dinner is as good as ready too. Come in."

Just as Larissa was about to go into the kitchen, Wednesday pulled her back. She shook her head mischievously, pulled her close and demanded a kiss. Larissa hummed against her lips as Wednesday let out a light sigh of her own.

"Thank you for inviting me," she breathed softly. "These are for you."

She held out the bouquet to Larissa and watched Larissa's expression. "Wow Montbretias," she uttered in amazement as she continued to examine them. "They are gorgeous Wednesday. Where did you get them, they're rare aren't they?"

Wednesday smiled. "I think I inherited my green thumb from my mother. They're my own breed," she said proudly, to which Larissa looked at her in fascination. "I think so too. They are beautiful. Thank you."

Larissa went into the kitchen, followed by the smaller woman, who watched Larissa look for a suitable vase. After the flowers were placed in the water and found their place by the window, Wednesday began to look around the living room while Larissa kept looking at her.
