Fight to the finish..

Beth gave me a lift back to the apartment, showed me the area and pointed out the team's favourite coffee shop so that I knew where to go. She is being so supportive and welcoming. I think me and her will really get along.

I grabbed my bags and beelined for the front door. As I went to open the door, it opened from the inside. I looked up and these big blue eyes caught my attention and I knew exactly who it was.

Leah- Careful there Bels, you nearly hurt yourself.

She is stood smirking inches away from me but still hasn't moved even though she knows I'm trying to get inside. Typical Leah being a wind up. Clever but hides it so that she has leeway to be the joker. And it works, oh it works.

Leah is a master of creating an atmosphere. She can make you feel a type of way just by being present. But she means it. She always does it intentionally.

Bella- Leah are you going to stand there all day or can I come in?

I managed to get inside of the shared house after like 5 minutes on the door step and put my bags down in my room that I was going to be sharing with Katie. I'm struggling to know how sharing with Katie was going to go down, she keeps staring at me and I always feel like I have something on my face.

Unpacking didn't take long, I don't have many clothes because usually I just live in football and training gear. I headed back downstairs to speak to the girls some more but just as I sit on the sofa next to Beth my phone started ringing. It was Lucy. I knew it would be. Do I answer? Do I just let it ring? I can't answer it sat in here.

Bella- Sorry girls I have to take this, I'll be back inside soon.

I stepped out of the house and answered the call.

Lucy- Hi you, are you okay?

Bella- Hi, yes I'm okay, are you?

Lucy- Yeah I'm alright, just wanted to check in after the big first day.

Bella- It's been good thank you, just settling into the house with the girls.

Lucy- Which girls?

Bella- Beth, Katie McCabe and Leah

Lucy- Leah as in Williamson?

Bella- Yes Luce, Leah Williamson. You know the blonde one?

Lucy- *laughing* Yeah I think I've met her once or twice. Make sure she knows you're very much taken, don't want to be falling out with my friends now do I?

Bella- I know Luce, she knows about us. I'm sharing a room with Katie anyways.

Lucy- Okay good. I don't trust Leah anyways. Not with you.

Bella- Nothing will happen like- *what have I just said???!!! Need to save myself rn*

Lucy- Like what?

Bella- Like trust me, nothing will happen

Lucy- Okay good. I'll let you settle in and I'll call you soon. Love you

Bella- Love you, bye.

*Leah POV*
Everyone is sat in the living room when Bella's phone starts ringing. I can see who it is just from the look on her face.

Bella- Sorry girls I have to take this, I'll be back inside soon.

Once she shut the front door I knew this was my chance to speak to Beth about the elephant in the room.

Leah- Beth can I have a word?

Beth- Yeah sure come to our room.

We get upstairs and I know once I start speaking I won't be able to stop. But here we go anyways.
I gather my breath and start thinking about where to start.

Beth- What's up Le?

Leah- So you remember what happened last time Bella was at camp?

Beth- Yes I do remember. That's hard to forget if I'm completely honest.

Leah- Yes well do you think she has forgotten it?

Beth- No, I know she hasn't. She thinks you've forgotten about it. She spoke to me before we left the ground yesterday.

Leah- What do I do? It's eating me up inside. I can't stop thinking about her, about what happened. Do I speak to her or will that make it awkward?

Beth- I think have a conversation if that's what you think is right, but don't make it awkward and don't bring it up unless you're willing to lay all your cards on the table.

Leah- Thank you Beffy, I'm gonna have a think about it for today.

Beth- The front doors just gone we best go back downstairs before Bella asks why we have snuck off again

We both started laughing and walking back downstairs.

*Bella POV*
Walking back inside the house and nobody was there is the most silence I've had all day and I'm enjoying it. Once again I spoke too soon, I can hear Beth and Leah laughing coming down the stairs.

Bella- Is this becoming a regular occurrence you two sneaking off? If you carry on Beth I'm going to have to tell Viv

Everyone laughed thankfully, I didn't want that to make things awkward.

The afternoon flew and it's now 6pm. We have all eaten and all have no plans for the evening. We have tomorrow morning off so I thought we'd have all gone to the pub or something. I'm still going to try to get them out I don't care.

Bella- Come on you lot let's go out !!! Don't be boring. We have tomorrow morning off. There's a pub at the end of the road literally. Who's buying me a drink?

Leah- We can go to the pub but I'm not buying you a drink *she smirks*

Katie- I'll buy you one

Everyone except Katie laughs

Leah- Of course YOU will Katie, I expected nothing less

Beth- I'm in, I wouldn't miss this for the world.

We all go and get ready but tonight could be a mistake or a good time. I wonder which it'll end up to be.
