Me and Joe have been officially dating for 6 months now and I couldn't be more excited. Me and Joe had something planned for today and I have been telling Amelia about it all today and we have been getting excited like girls who got to hug their crush in middle school. Once I got home from being at the studio all day I called out "Babe!? I'm home!" Was surprised to not get a response but I just shrug it off thinking Joe will be coming home shortly so I decide to just start getting ready now. Since it's a special occasion I decide to run a quick bath and just do everything. If you would have told me 6 months ago I would be dating the Joe Burrow AND one of my brothers best friends I would have told you that you're crazy. And I have never been happier till this point. Of course me and Joe had our ups and downs as every couple has but I couldn't imagine my life any other way.
After my bath I head to mine and Joe's room, if you are wondering yes I did finally move in with Joe, and still no sign of Joe but it doesn't bother me so I just walk to our room to finish getting ready. I put lotion all over my body and start to work on my hair and makeup. Once I feel satisfied with how it came out and I go to my side of the closet picking out my best lingerie, of course just in case, and a cute creme colored dress and a pair of cute pink heels.

I start putting them on and feel absolutely beautiful. I make sure to spray on some perfume and grab a purse and my phone and head down to the living room. I check my phone just to see if Joe texted or called while I was getting ready and there's nothing kind of taking me by surprise but I just shrug it off knowing he will be home soon.
When they say waiting for someone feels like hours, they're not kidding. However when I check my phone and see it's been an hour I am pissed so I decide to call Joe. After 5 rings he answers and it sounds like there's loud music and a lot of people in the background "Hey Pais!" he says sounding slightly drunk taking me by surprise, especially because Joe never really gets drunk due to not liking the feeling which I don't blame him, so I say "Hey babe was wondering when you're going to be here?" I ask hoping what I am thinking is not true "Um well I am out with Sam and Ja'Marr right now so probably not till later on might even end up staying over Ja'Marr's" he says making my jaw drop "Seriously Joe?!" I say getting angry "Woah why so mad?" he says entirely confused and having no clue why he's wrong "It's our 6 months today do you not remember we had plans?" I ask almost yelling at this point "No our six months is...oh shit it's today" he says "Yeah it's today Joe" I say with pure venom in my voice "I'll be right there Pais I.." he starts but I cut him off "Don't even and you can stay at Ja'Marr's tonight" I say hanging up calling Amelia trying not to cry "Hey how's the date going?" she asks and I just break down 'Woah woah what's wrong?" she asks getting very concerned "Um can you just come over? And bring some wine, and ice cream?" I sniffle "Of course" she says then hangs up.
By the time Amelia gets here I am already in comfy clothes and makeup is taken off I hear her knock "Come in" I yell sitting on the couch with my blanket. She walks in and looks at me "Oh hun what happened?" she asks and walks over and sits with me and hugs me "He forgot and went out with Ja'Marr and Sam to drink" I cry hugging her back "He did what?? I even told Sam about your guys plans today??" she says and I just shrug "I just want to drink wine, eat ice cream, and watch movies with my best friend now" I say and she gives me a sympathetic smile "Well you are in luck" She goes to the bag she set on the table pulling out two bottles of wine and two ice cream cartons making me smile "You're the best" I laugh sitting up.
We were watching How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, which is my favorite movie ever, when the door opens "Pais?" I hear Joe call making me roll my eyes. He and the other two walk in "I told you to stay at Ja'Marr's tonight" I say with an attitude not caring if I have on right now "I know but can you please just come with me?" he asks making me look at him and sigh "Fine" I say getting up and following him and he takes me out back and I see a cute little movie set up making me stop and look at him "What's this?" I ask and he walks up to me "After you hung up I felt bad for what I did and I know no matter what I do you will not forgive me, I wouldn't forgive me either, but I wanted to do something and I know it isn't what we planned but I hope this makes up for it" he says totally making my heart melt and as mad I as I am at him the fact he did this kind if makes me forgive him slightly so I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him "It's perfect Joe thank you" I say as he smiles and walks me to the set up and sees he has the same movie I was just watching on the screen "My favorite movie?" I ask and sit down with him seeing there's wine and pizza "Anything for my girl" he says making me smile even bigger at him and lean in and kiss him.
And let me just tell you thank god there's high fences and that the others went home that night ;).
