The next day I had woken up reaching for Joe except I found an empty bed making me sit up and look around. I reach over and grab my phone seeing Joe had left a text making me smile.

Goodmorning beautiful! Me and Sam had to leave to get to the stadium for the game and didn't want to wake you! But me and Sam left you and Amelia tickets! See you tonight! x

I smile getting out of bed and running to Amelia's room jumping on her bed next to her "You have nothing to do later on right?" I ask her laying on my back "Nope why?" she asks curious "Joe and Sam left us tickets to the game" that makes her sit up and look at me shocked "No way!" she squeals and looks at time "What time does the game start?" she asks as I check "1 o'clock and it's...." I check the time and eyes widens "10 o'clock!" I jump up and run to my room to get ready.

Going through my closet I decide on my Burrow jersey, I got because all the Hubbard jerseys were sold out at the time, with a hoodie to wear underneath and a pair of leggings with white nike socks and my air forces. Laying that on the bed I decide to just leave my hair natural but brush it out throwing on my bengals baseball cap that I stole from Sam years ago and put on some makeup. Once that's done I brush my teeth and walk to my room and get dressed once I finish I walk out grabbing my keys, phone, and lulu crossbody bag. I throw in my necessities and walk downstairs grabbing a protein bar and throwing Amelia one as we walk out. I then remember "Oh crap the tickets!" I run back to the table and grab them. Walking to the door I notice the tickets say the seats are in the first row behind the bengals side "no freaking way" I say getting into the car and show Amelia the tickets. As she pulls away from the house I text Joe.

I roll my eyes putting my phone on the aux and ironically You Are In Love by Taylor Swift comes on making me smile "No way that song just came on" Amelia says chuckling which makes me laugh a bit. Looking out the window I think about Joe, I know a shocker right? But the way he does things without thinking I mean getting us tickets for the game that are FRONT row? The way he smiles god it makes my stomach fill with butterflies. They way his eyes change between different shades of blue they get lighter when he's happy or talking about something he's passionate about or how they turn dark and almost a grey when he's upset or angry. The single curl that falls almost perfectly in front of his face. His laugh that I love! God I love him.

Oh my god I Love Joe Burrow! "Oh my god" I say out loud "What? What happened?" Amelia asks getting concerned. I look at her with a smile on my face "I love Joe" I say for the first time out loud and my smile just grows bigger. Amelia's jaw drops and squeals "I knew it! I knew it last night when you were both dancing together!" she says making me smile "I'm surprised you said it out loud" she says pulling up to the stadium, the boys got us a spot where they park so we don't have to go through the crowds, "You're telling me" I say waiting to get out of the car because the song is about to end "God Joe was written by Taylor Swift" Amelia says getting out of the car.

-In the stadium-

Me and Amelia make it to our seats after getting a beer. We get to them realizing we are right behind them "Holy crap these are good seats" I say sitting down looking at the boys on the field stretching making me smile "No kidding" Amelia says taking a sip of her beer. I almost immediately notice Joe on the stretching and not going to lie the way he's stretching is doing things to me and without even thinking I say out loud "My god to be that field right now" Amelia almost chokes on her drink laughing and looks at me "Oh my god! Paisleigh!" I sink into my chair blushing "That wasn't meant to be said out loud" I say crossing my arms pulling my hat down further to cover my face.

The game eventually starts and we're in the fourth quarter they're playing the Giants, and so far things are not looking good for the Bengals and it's frustrating "How are we losing to the freaking Giants?!" I say getting stressed out. I know it might shock you but I actually love football and growing up with Sam it was kind of embedded into head with him talking about it nonstop when we were kids. "You're telling me" Amelia says sighing.

The Bengals lose 25-22, which thinking about it is not a bad score but still not how we wanted the game to go, me and Amelia depressingly walk to our cars to wait for the boys "I am not looking forward to how the boys are going to be" I say knowing when Sam losses he is NOT happy at all, I have yet to see how Joe is so this should be interesting. "So are you going to tell Joe you love him?" Amelia says leaning onto the car next to me I think about it, I know I have to tell him but I can't right away, right? I mean it's so soon. I shake my head looking at her "Think about it Millie we met what? A few weeks ago? It's all too soon plus what if I say it and he doesn't feel the same way and I make him run away?" The thought of losing Joe so soon and I honestly don't think I want to know what that feels like. Amelia goes to say something but I stop her noticing the boys coming to us.

Standing up I walk over to Joe who has the saddest face ever making me pout "Awh you did amazing" I say wrapping my arms around his neck feeling his arms go around my waist "I know but we should have won I mean we lost to the Giants" he says making me pull away and put my hands on his cheeks so he looks at me "Hey you are going to lose games that's just how the game works but you have to think about the amazing things you did today between all of the touchdowns and everything else you should be so proud of yourself" I say making him smile "How are you so amazing?" he asks hugging me again "Eh I guess I'm just born with it" I say making us both laugh. Soon I pull away and we walk over to Sam and Amelia "So what's the plan now?" I ask looking at them two "Go and get some food?" Amelia asks and both the boys nod "Sam can come with me and Joe you mind driving Paisleigh?" she suggests making me give her a look because I know exactly what she's doing and I give her a look "Of course I don't mind" he says wrapping an arm around my shoulder "Should we go to Jeff Ruby's?" he suggests "You just want to get your steak" Sam says making us all laugh. We all agree and head to the cars.

Joe holds the door open for me making me smile "Why thank you Mr. Burrow" I say getting in "Anything for you Miss. Hubbard" he says closing the door and walking to the drivers side getting in and starting the car. As we pull away I can't help but to stare at him. He is just so perfect in so many ways it just makes you want to say

"Joe, I love you"

Q: When did you start to like football?
A: growing up my brother played football between peewee league and high school, almost went onto to college to play ball until he decided to join the military instead! But that kid literally eat, breath, sleeps football he can call a play right before it happens and all that jazz. So growing up on the sideline I picked up on what was happening and since developed a love for the game! If you're wondering yes i was THAT sister on the sidelines screaming at coaches and refs!
