First Day at Joffrey

It was mine and Amelia's day at Joffrey and to say we were nervous was an understatement. My nerves were through the roof. I decided to wake up extra early that morning and get in the shower so that I can put my hair into a bun easier. I hear my phone go off with Joe's contact. God I miss him, because of Joffrey being in New York we have to do long distance which sucks but I know we can make it through. I walk to my phone and answer "Hello" I say super excited "Hello my beautiful ballerina! You excited for today?" he asks and I smile at the cute nickname "I am but so nervous" I say truthfully sitting on my bed taking a deep breath.

"You are going to do amazing Pais, I know it" he says calming me down a bit "I know, I miss you though I wish you were here to help with these nerves" I say being honest "I know babe I wish I was there for you too, but you are going to be amazing, you've worked hard for this" he says making me smile "Who knows maybe me and Sam will come visit you guys in New York" he says getting me excited "I would love that Joe, especially Amelia she's struggling without Sam" I say honestly getting up to finish getting ready "I know, well I am going to leave you to get ready call me when you're done today ok?" he asks "Of course, I love you" I say and he says it back then we hang up.

-At Joffrey-

Seeing all of the other ballerinas kind of makes me more nervous. They all look like the ideal ballerina but I just quickly put my shoes on and start to stretch. Once the teacher comes in we get right into class and start working at the barre. The teacher is super strict, like imagine if Theodora and Abby Lee had a baby that is exactly how this teacher is. While dancing I begin to feel my chest tightening, which I know what that means, but I just ignore it and continue with the class. Just when I think everything is going good the teacher yells at me for something small and I lose it I just run out of the room trying to catch my breath.

The tears are threatening to spill and I grab my bag and run into the bathroom. Grabbing my phone I dial Joe's number "Please pick up" I say crying then I hear him answer "Pais? Aren't you supposed to be in class?" he asks and I just sob "Joe I...I can't do it" I cry out "Woah woah babe breathe ok? Breathe with me" he says helping me control my breathing and it soon comes to a steady breath "Now, tell me what happened" he says and I sniffle "I could feel myself panicking in class and then the teacher was so strict she yelled at me for a small mistake I made and I walked out, Joe I am going to get kicked out" I cry a bit more "No you're not ok? Pais this is a whole new ball game for you, you are meant to be there and you are meant to be there" he says calming me down more "Thank you Joe" I say smiling "No need to thank me when it's the truth" he says making me chuckle "Ok I should go back to the class" I say standing up "Ok call me again if anything happens ok?" he asks making me smile more "I will love you" I say hanging up and walking out of the stall to check to make sure I look fine when Amelia walks in "You ok?" she asks and I nod "Small panic attack" I say and she gives me a slight smile "Well the teacher wants to talk to you" she says making me worried but I just nod and walk out "Wish me luck."

I walk into the room and see the teacher "Miss. Hubbard, is everything ok from earlier?" she asks and I nod "Just a slight panic attack" I say feeling my nerves come back. She nods and turns to me "I was like that when I first started here, your teacher Miss Theodora is a very good friend of mine and spoke very highly of you to me and from what I seen earlier I can see why" she says taking me  back a bit "Thank you" I say "Very welcome now go on out, I will see you tomorrow" she says and I nod walking out quickly to Amelia "What happened?" she asks and I shake my head "Lets get out of here and I will tell you" I tell her grabbing my stuff and leaving.

Walking into the house we walk in and it smells like a home cooked meal in here making us look at each other "Did you cook something?" I ask and she gives me a look "Pais I have been with you the whole day" she says making me put my hands up and walk and see Sam in the living room making my jaw drop "What are you doing here!?" I say as Amelia walks over gasping and running up to him and he smiles hugging her "Wait does that mean.." I start and walk to the kitchen seeing Joe making me scream and run up jumping into his arms hugging him making him laugh and catch me "We wanted to surprise you girls and especially after your phone call, we talked to coach and he said we can have the weekend off" he says making me pull away enough to look at him "You're joking??" I ask and he shakes his head no making me smile more and kiss him "Ok can you two make out later so Joe can finish cooking?" I hear Sam say making me laugh as I pull away and slide off to give Sam a hug "Missed you bro" I say.

And all was good again.

(A/N: I am so sorry for not updating the last couple of days I had a major writers block and wanted to write a cute chapter for this story! 

Q: Now that baseball season is back who are you rooting for? Who is your favorite player? And who do you hope to make it to the world series?

A: I am so excited baseball is back because I have missed watching sports! I am of course rooting for my home team the Philadelphia Phillies! My favorite player on the team is Alec Bohm, if you don't know who he is look him up and thank me later! I of course hope we make it back because of how we ended last season I think we need to come back! Go Phils! Ring The Bell!

Extra Q: Who are you rooting for in the Final four for basketball?

A: For women's LSU who just won 102-85 who is ALSO the first for both men's and women's to win a championship for basketball which is AMAZING! For men's I want U Conn to win because their mascot is a husky just like Bloomsburgs!
