*I will try to update this story once or twice a week. No promises as I have a busy life. Start date: April 15th, 2023*
I would also like to point out that I have never watched a detective show. I think the closest thing I've watched was Black Butler, so if something sounds weird or if something doesn't make sense, don't be afraid to comment! This will be the only Authors Note for the rest of the story. If changes happen you will see a date at the beginning of the Chapter. (Yin means Y/n. I simply don't like typing y/n hundreds of times.)

*Bring, Bring!* *Bring, Bri-!* Detective Yins office, how may we be of service? The female at the reception desk answered the phone while Detective Yin sat beside her. Papers cover the area- nevertheless, only the receptionist spoke. A male voice answers from the other side.
This is a Government Official speaking. We need to talk directly to the detective at this present moment. The receptionist glances back to meet Yins puffy eyes. Lack of sleep was evident on her face. A slight nod from Yins head allowed the receptionist to continue.
The detective will be a moment as we are, dealing with another case. The female spoke fast. She turns away, lowering her voice to allow Yin to think.
The other line went silent for a moment. Another person's voice played through the phone. Let her know Mr. Gou needed her help.
The sound of his name made Yin stare daggers at the phone. When she spoke, her eyes fluttered shut. Mr. Gou. What brought you to call my office?
A distinguished chuckle echoes through the phone. Detective Yin. Glad to hear from you again. We have an-
Yeah, yeah. I heard your little speech. Whats the issue at hand? Yin snaps as she begins to organize the papers scattered around. She grabs a paper and pen, waiting for Mr. Gou to continue.
Mr. Gou clears his throat. A few minutes ago, we received a call about seven of your old friends. Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Ejiro Kirishima, Hanta Sero, Denki Kaminari, Mina Ashido, and Kyouka Jirou have all gone missing after a mission. This mission did not involve them fighting anyone, only observing an abandoned mansion.
Yin writes down as much as possible before speaking up. Why were they observing an abandoned mansion if they did not plan on engaging in a fight? That seems like a pointless mission for seven people to go on.
Yes We thought that as well.
Yin looks at the receptionist, confused. Yin sighs before holding her hand out. The female passes her the phone, quickly moving to get a cup of tea. Yin holds the phone to her ear and whispers, Elaborate? I am alone for a moment.
The heroes do not know who sent the mission, nor does the government. A shuffle of papers on the other line draws Yins attention to hers. Scribbled notes fill the top of the page, leaving more than half of it blank. I have the mission report with me. Im giving you an hour to accept this search. It would consist of you and Eraserhead only. None of your interns could join you.
Yin cuts him off with a groan. Do you understand what you are asking right now? Her eyes softened as her receptionist returned with two cups of tea. Thank you, Yua. Yua sets the cup down on the counter and returns to her seat. Opening the computer, she begins typing. Mr. Gou. Youre asking me to leave my office alone for God knows how long so I can solve a mystery?
Yes. A mystery that involves your dearest friends. His voice went quiet. Yin could tell he was waiting for a yes or no.
Give me an hour to finish another kidnapping report. Ill call you back later. Yua ends the call, and Yin passes the phone back to her.
Yua sighs before turning her screen to Yin. I went through all the staff members that will be here for the next two weeks. I have identified the ones that could take your place and the ones that will not.
Yin stares at the screen, sipping at her tea with a soft hum. Would you be comfortable with taking my role for the week?
Yuas eyes widen before she takes a sip of her own tea. She takes a deep breath, I have done this before, but that was for a day. Im not so sure about a whole week.
Yin takes another sip before setting down her cup. Yes, I assumed you would say that. After this past week, you have proven to be quite a good leader, but I will find someone to be your assistant for the week. Do you have anyone in mind? Yin takes her cup in hand, skimming through the names of employees.
Um Yua closes her eyes and takes another sip. What about the new interns? They seem to be smart kids.
Taking a sip, Yin looms her eyes over Yua. Hmm Those two could work as long as they are learning things. I wouldnt want their month here to be pointless.
Yuas hold on her cup tightens. Yin sighs before setting her cup down. Mr. Gou wont allow me to take anyone with me. He is giving us an hour to figure this out.
Mrs. Lynn, I already know that information. Why are- Yin lifts her hand, causing Yua to go quiet.
You can call me Yin, Yua. Yin stands up, avoiding the paper still on the floor. Im going to agree, only because these are my friends. I assure you, Midoriya and Katsuki would not go into this mission without knowing who sent it. Someone is lying. Yin walks to the main entrance, motioning Yua to follow.
Do you have an idea already of who would send it? Yua stands next to Yin as she stares out the entrance window.
I almost, already, have this solved. But I need more than Mr. Aizawa to help. Yins eyes meet Yuas eyes through the reflection. Yua, message Tsuyu Asui, Hitoshi Shinso, Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, Ochaco Uraraka, and Nejire Hado. Let them know I need to meet up with them ASAP.
Yes, Maam. Within the next hour, they shall know. Yua quietly makes her way back to her desk. Times ticking
