When Alhaitham came back he found Kaveh sleeping on his artwork, he wanted to drag him into his bed when he saw a peek of Kaveh's design.

That's actually quite impressive.. why do i always insult his art anyways, it looks amazing... maybe as some kind of discipline to do better? I guess that's how I've been raised

As he carefully put Kaveh down on his bed he started looking at all the designs on the walls of the bedroom. There were architectural designs and sketches.

Looks like he attempted anatomy, he did quite well, I didn't expect that he payed attention in biology class all those years ago.

Then he found wrinkled little balls of paper on the floor next to the desk, when he unfolded the papers he found scratched out designs and sketches that actually looked fine with only minor mistakes.

I guess he is trying to get better, but maybe i have been too hard on him.. he's getting really insecure about this stuff.

Alhaitham was feeling a little worried, but because Kaveh seemed to be fine he brushed it off. He put the scratched out artworks down on Kaveh's desk and went to bed.

The next morning he woke up to Kaveh looking stressed, when Alhaitham walked in Kaveh immediately started panicking. "Did you look at my art, my ruined art?!" he yelled, " Why did you do that, it was like that on the floor for a reason!" "look, I'm sorry Kaveh, I was only curious and I didn't mean to invade your privacy.. And I am sorry for how i acted yesterday as well." Alhaitham spoke in a calm voice. Kaveh seemed to have calmed down again. "Its fine.. Sorry I'm just really nervous because I have this big project I have to turn in next week that could get me a lot of money and I'm scared its not good enough.." Alhaitham wanted to cheer him up. "You are being overdramatic it looks fine." He noticed he sounded annoyed on accident and tried to neutralize his tone, Kaveh's expression didn't seem to have changed either so he brushed it off. "your work looks fine." He repeated, this time with a calmer voice. "Thanks.." Kaveh went back to his work like nothing was going on. Alhaitham felt like something just happened, but he couldn't understand what it was and why, so he brushed it off once again and went back to work.

When he came back Kaveh wasn't home, Alhaitham assumed he was getting drunk at the tavern again and since Alhaitham had a frustrating and stressful day he went to go do some quiet reading in the living room. When Kaveh came home he was drunker than ever before, Alhaitham was concerned and assumed he drunk that much because of stress and overworking. "Kaveh, why are you drunk again!" He yelled. Surprised at his angry tone Alhaitham tried calming down Meanwhile Kaveh's expression turned sad. "I'm sorry Haitham... I guess i just forgot how many I had at some point.." Kaveh tried to laugh it off, which angered Alhaitham because to him it was concerning, not funny. "If you didn't overwork yourself you wouldn't be drinking so much!" Alhaitham yelled, once again surprised at his volume. He hated how he couldn't seem to keep in his anger. Kaveh's eyes started tearing up, so because he was mad at himself Alhaitham lashed out on him again. "You are so hecking emotional, you should learn how to deal with yourself!" after shouting that Alhaitham turned quiet.

Shit. Why would I say that kind of stuff, I didn't even mean it, its like I am trying to hurt Kaveh but I don't want that at all..

"Well maybe if you stopped yelling at me every time I did something wrong I wouldn't be crying so much!" Kaveh cried out. this surprised Alhaitham even more, he had never seen Kaveh like this before.

Was he more emotional than usual because he was drunk..?

No, Kaveh's words seemed to come from his heart. "You are drunk, you should calm down first" Alhaitham still attempted to say this in the hope this would stop the argument. "Do you even know me..." Kaveh was speaking more quietly now but anger was flaming in his voice, Alhaitham hadn't expected this question and didn't know how to answer. "Did you even try to learn a thing about me!?" Kaveh started yelling again. Alhaitham stayed quiet, still not knowing was to say, a new emotion Kaveh had never showed before was flaming up inside him and Alhaitham didn't know how to react. "Exactly. You wouldn't know my heart, even if you tried." Kaveh sounded disappointed and tired. Alhaitham still didn't know what to do, this all started because he was worried but ended up in the worst argument they ever had. Kaveh started walking away to his room, Alhaitham wanted to stop him but decided it was better to let him cool off, tomorrow they would both apologize and everything would be fine again.

Right..?
