Most people fear the dead and what comes with them. Zombies, vampires, ghosts, and many other terrifying creatures erupt from the dead, yet there are gentler things. Spirits and ghosts are always portrayed differently; ghosts as haunting beings and spirits as almost silent, nearly invisible "companions." Spirits are never explored, but they are beautiful, shimmering, translucent beings that bring peace and guidance like a gentle breeze or the wind created by fluttering wings. Spirits are souls, but spirits are not ghosts; they are quite the opposite.
