Chapter - 6

Jimin's POV

It's almost evening now. The sun is slowly disappearing leaving few traces behind.

I quickly put on my shirt and then shoes, and take my wallet, phone, and keys before leaving the dorm.

Today this whole thing gonna come to an end. I don't hate IGBTQ since I know people who are from this community.

But I'm straight. I can't force myself to like a guy just because I respect his choice.

I told my friends to leave without me. Since I'm gonna go with Han Kyung.

By the time I arrive, it's already dark. The decorations of the festival are gorgeous. There are lots of vendors and game zones.

I decide to wait in front of a tree. I text Han Kyung about my location.

After like 15 minutes, she arrives finally. She waves at me and I wave back.

"Hi- "

She smiles and greets me.

"Hii, do you remember everything I told you" I inquire.

"Don't worry babe, I remember everything"

"Babe?" I ask surprised.

"Oh come on, we're a couple now so I have to call you babe"

She flirts in the most annoying voice I have ever heard. I decide not to talk to her anymore.

I already told Suho to meet me at the fest. So now all left is for him to come. Suho texts me saying he's here.

I look around and see him running towards me. He keeps waving at me excitedly.

When he comes closer and looks at Han Kyung beside me, his expression turns into a confused one. I am internally squealing.

"Meet my girlfriend Han Kyung-" I introduce her, holding her hand.

But she keeps trying to snatch her hand away from mine. This is not what we planned. A minute ago she was flirting and now she can't even hold my hand.

"Your girlfriend?? but you d-"

"Yes I didn't have one but now I do. We liked each other from high school but only now proposed to each other" He suddenly looks so down. Yes, my plan is working.

Han Kyung keeps on calling my name in a low voice. I look at her and give her a firm look. Why is she looking scared? I decide to ignore her calls for now.

"I understand how you're feeling right now. I'm sorry Suho but I don't think I can give you a chance."

I give him an apologetic look. He looks at Han Kyung and she looks even more scared now. What is going on?

"Is he your boyfriend?"

"No-" What the heck? This is not a part of the plan. I look at her and try to tell her to change her statement through my expression. But she diverts her eyes from mine.

"She's just shy... Haha," I try to glue the almost sinking ship.

"I know her Jimin. She's my friend's girlfriend"

I look at her with wide eyes. This is why she was giving me all those signs.

"I-i... I don't know what to say" I look down, feeling embarrassed.

"I know why you did this Jimin" I look at his face hopefully. Maybe now he'll understand that I don't like him and finally leave me alone.

"You wanted to test me before giving me a chance" He chuckles and I look at him dumbfounded.
