Chapter - 26

After he replied to Jungkook, he didn't waste a second before walking away.

It was a cold and heartless answer. He knew with his answer he had broken Jungkook's heart. He saw the expression Jungkook made after he said the word.

He thought he would be fine after rejecting Jungkook. He thought there would be no attachment left after that.

Then why? Why is he feeling like this?

Why is his heart aching so much?

Why does he feel like crying?

As soon as he entered his home, he broke into a crying mess. His heart was beating faster than usual. He could hear the beat loud and clear.

He fell onto the ground, hugged himself, and cried. Cried until there were no tears left.

All the memories of him and Jungkook would flash in his mind from time to time. It would make him feel even more miserable.

The whole night was spent like that. And the morning came before he even knew. He was still in the same position as before. He lost track of time. It wasn't until he heard a knock.

He subtly looked up from the ground. He was about to get up after hearing the constant knocks. But his body wasn't moving. He didn't feel an ounce of strength. So he no longer tried to stand up.

After a while later, the knocks stopped. Jimin sighed. Maybe the person left. But he wasn't bothered by that at all. But to his surprise, the person opened the door.

Jimin instantly knew who the person was.

"Min! Are you okay?" Jimin looked up and his eyes met with a pair of worried eyes. Tae looked devastated upon seeing Jimin in that condition.

"Min?-"

Jimin burst into tears when Tae called him again. He thought he was too tired to cry then how come he was crying again?

Tae quickly got on his knees and hugged Jimin.

"Sheesh! Tell me what's wrong?"

"Tae, what do I do now?" Taehyung thought of many reasons but he was still clueless.

"What is it? What happened?"

Jimin didn't answer immediately. He cried for a while and Tae also stayed silent till he was done crying. Jimin finally calmed down, wiped his tears, and took some deep breaths.

"I told Jungkook that I had no feelings for him. I rejected him for good. He said he won't ever disturb me." A tear fell from his eyes as he finished saying.

Taehyung finally understood why Jimin was crying. But he didn't wanna tell Jimin anything but wanted him to understand his feelings on his own.

"I see. Then why are you crying?"

"I don't know" Taehyung sighed.

"Jimin, you know that's not gonna work. You might be a clueless guy but not this much. My words might sound harsh but you gotta listen-"

Tae took a break and a deep breath-

"You know deep down why you're crying. You want him. You don't want to lose him. Life sometimes takes unexpected turns. And you have to accept them. There's nothing wrong with you just because you like a guy. It's okay to have these feelings. You don't have to jump into a relationship or start dating immediately. Why don't you give him a chance? If nothing changes then okay, you don't have anything to lose"

Jimin listened to his words carefully. He also knew his feelings. But he still can't come to terms with his feelings yet. So he doesn't know whether to give Jungkook a chance or not.
