New Chapter

It was early evening and Tae and I finally finished unpacking everything from Paris. I sighed heavily as I put the last of my clothes away and headed into the kitchen to eat.

We ate in silence as Tan kept begging us for food, I laughed and shook my head no. Tae smiled fondly at us as he finished up his food and got ready to clean the table.

He stood up as I got off the chair, pushed it back in place and went to the couch. Tan followed as I sat down, brought my legs up and looked over to the kitchen, Tae laughed.

"Tired, Summer?"

"And you're not? We literally just got back from Paris..."

"I am, don't worry. I just don't want to sleep yet."

I smiled, "Wanna watch TV then or a movie?"

He returned it, finished cleaning up and came over to the couch. He sat down, laid back and motioned me over. I crawled to him, laid against his side and draped my arm over his stomach.

Tan jumped up to join us, laid against both our stomachs and shut his eyes, we smiled at him and Tae looked back at me.

"What are we watching then?"

"Whatever you want, Tae."

He reached for the remote, "Let's watch a movie." and surfed through our steaming services.

He picked one and started it as I cuddled him tight. His arm went around me, draped it over my side and I rested my head in the crook of his neck.

About halfway through the movie, my eyes started to close as Tae ran his fingers up and down my side. Just as my eyelids drooped, vibration ran up my leg as my eyes flung back open and I quickly reached for my phone.

"Who is it?" Tae asked.

"Aria, she want's to talk through video call."

"Well, answer it."

"But the movie..."

He smiled, "I don't care, Summer. I've seen it already."

I returned it, "Okay." and hit answer.

"Hey Summer, V. I hope I'm not interrupting something..."

I laughed, Tae kept smiling.

"Hey Aria, no we're just watching a movie."

"Isn't it late by you, Aria?" Tae chimed in.

"It is, what about you two? I'm surprised you're even still awake."

"It's not super late here, we're tired sure but we don't want to sleep yet."

"I see...anyway Summer, there's something I've been wanting to tell you."

Her eyes filled with happiness as pink blushed covered her cheeks, Tae and I smiled.

"What is it?" I asked.

She smiled, "I'm pregnant."

My eyes filled with awe. "Oh my gosh! Congratulations, Aria!"

She gave a light laugh, "Thanks, Summer."

"Wait...does that mean you were pregnant during the wedding?" Tae asked.

I looked over to him as his wide eyed puppy stare filled his face then looked back to her.

"Hold on...you were drinking...You're not suppose to be, how far along are you?"

"I'm about six months and I wasn't actually drinking."

"Yes you were, I saw you." Tae cut in.

"Guys they were non-alcoholic drinks, I'm not that stupid."

I stared at her for a few seconds as she started to get a bit awkward, I finally responded.
