Street lights, trees and roads blurred passed me as I kept running for the hospital, hoping to get there the same time as Aria. Dizziness clouded my mind as I squeezed my knife wound tight, fighting constant pain the whole way.
Aria...I'm coming...
Faster and harder I ran as the hospital finally came into view and I ran straight for the front doors. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Trevor pull up in his car with Autumn, the girls and Aria crying out.
They came in right behind me as we stepped into the reception area and each of our eyes went wide. Mine landed on Aria's heavy breathing as hers landed on my arm and my knees started to buckle under me.
"Oh my god! What happened, Summer?!"
Heads shot up from all over the room soon as she yelled my name and I froze in place. Nurses from each side of us came running to our sides and started to pull us away from each other.
"Wait! No! Let me go with her, she's in labor!" I cried out.
"No way! You need to get to the emergency room, stat!" came a voice.
I tried pushing back against her to get to Aria, but she had an iron grip on me. I kicked and elbowed her with all my leftover strength but it was no use and I gave up.
Blackness started to blur my vision as I heard the last of Aria's voice echoing throughout my ringing ears.
"Autumn! Call him, call V!" and everything went dark.
A low humming sound came through my ears as mumbled voices kept going in and out, forcing me to open my eyes. My head nodded forward as my eyes locked with one of the nurses hands, they were stitching up my arm.
Sudden pain ran through my arm and my heart raced. Instantly, the nurses put a needle into it and my racing heart started to slow down once again and unwelcoming blackness took over.
It felt like hours before I could feel myself waking up and my eyes fluttered open. Burning white flashed in my eyes as I brought my arm up to cover them, only to have it pulled back from me.
I looked down at it, it was hooked up to an IV bag, pumping blood back into it. I slowly took a glance around the room, eyeing every dull and boring detail and that's when I saw them and my eyes went wide.
"Why the hell didn't you take us with, Summer!" yelled one of my body guards.
"Our job is to protect you from something like this! I can't believe you!" yelled the other.
"I...I'm sorry..."
"Sorry?! You're coming back home soon as this gets taken care off."
I tried holding my hands up as my eyes went wider but I couldn't, it hurt to much.
"No, no please no! Tae can't know this happened he can't..."
"He already does, Summer. Why do you think you're going back home?"
"But...but Aria...I need to be with her."
"Aria is fine, she had her baby and she's resting now." came a sweet voice.
I looked from my body guards to the door, it was a nurse. She was a little bit younger than me, really pretty and had the sweetest smile. I watched as she walked over to us and stood in front of my hospital bed.
"How long have I been out?"
"At least five hours."
Shock flooded my face, "Five hours?! It's almost midnight...when did Aria have him?"
