Rainy Days

Tears ran down my knees, along my legs as my body shook against the door. I dug my nails deep into my shins as my heart skipped beats and pounded faster. Sudden warmth grabbed hold of my hands, lightly pulled them off my shins and I slowly lifted my head.

Water blurred my vision as those warm, comforting deep brown eyes locked with mine and I threw my arms around him. I buried my head in the nape of his neck as he held me tight, soothing and comforting me in the only way he knew how.

"Baby, what's wrong? What's going on?" Tae asked.

I held onto him tighter, taking in his sweet sent, his comforting voice and all the anxiousness I've been feeling finally slowed down. I sat there holding him for a long time, calming my heart and body as he held me close.

Soft lips were on my forehead, cheeks, nose and lips and his hand cupped my face. He caressed his thumb along my tear stained cheek, kissed me one more time and I looked up into his loving eyes.

"What happened, Summer?"

"My...my first stalker showed up, I'm sure of it."

His eyes darkened, "Of course he did..."

"Now you see why I'm still scared to go out?"

He dropped his hand from my cheek, let out a deep sigh and pressed his forehead against mine.

"Didn't Yoongi hyung protect you? Did your guards?"

I moved one of my hands, "Yes. They never left my side, Tae." and cupped his cheek.

He closed his eyes tight, pulled his forehead off mine and rested his head in my hand. I gave him a small smile, caressed his cheek and kissed his forehead, he let out another sigh.

He opened his eyes, "I should of been there...."

"No you shouldn't of, that would of been so much worse. I'm here, I'm okay."

"But you weren't, you were crying and shaking...I didn't know what to do so I just held you."

"And it worked. I'm sorry you had to see me like that...Ever since Cali, my anxiety has been off the charts."

"Wait, you never told me you had that...why?"

I sighed heavily, dropped both my hands from him and wrapped my arms around myself as he held me closer.

"Because, it wasn't as bad as it is now. I've always had it and I've been able to handle it by doing things that calm me, but it's way harder to control since that night."

He squeezed me tight as I rested my head on his and dropped my arms from around me.

"Let me try and help, please? I may not know much but I want you to be okay, you know I'm here for you."

I gave a small smile, "I do and I love it so much."

He returned it, "So, you'll let me try?"

"Of course I will, you did just help."

"I did, didn't I?"

I kissed his forehead, "You did, you always make me feel calm and comforted. It's who you are and I love that so much about you."

He blushed, "Summer..."

I gave a light laugh, "It's true and you know it, Tae. I'm alright, okay? Might wait a little bit before going out again though."

"And that's fine, I'd do the same. We can stay in all you want tomorrow, how's that sound?"

I smiled, "Sounds good to me." and slowly started to get up off the floor.
