Chapter 16- Boat ride

Y/n's POV:
"Y/n~ wake up~"
I was awoken by a shake on my shoulder. I turn over to see Bob greet me with his handsome smile.
"Good morning handsome"
I said while have a smile on my face.
Bobs pale face turned pink I could tell he was flustered.
"Me and O-Otto got a surprise f-for you."
Damn my comment must have gotten him flustered, he's so cute.
"Oh and make sure to pack a bag."
Now I was really excited I grabbed the tote bag that was originally the snack bag and stared stuffing the bag with shirts and other essentials.
"Please Bob! Tell me where we're going!"
"It's a surprise for a reason darlin"
I rolled my eye and continued packing.

I stepped out of our room to see Bob and Otto taking, but Otto has his sailor hat on. Don't tell me, we're going on the boat?!
"Wait why are we going on the boat?"
"Ah it seems our little missy figured it out"
"I mean it wasn't hard you're wearing your sailor hat."
"Oh right."
Otto took the hat off his head and hid it behind his back. I laughed at him and we all headed out to the docks, holding Bobs hand of course.

After we got on the boat they still haven't told me where we're going.
"So~ we're we going?"
"It's a surprise!"
Bob exclaimed in excitement.
"So it's kinda a wait till we get there?"
"Yup, but don't worry we'll be there by tomorrow."
The boat started moving, I guess Otto doesn't take anytime to start. We went to the bedroom we had last time but this time we'll actually share a bed.
"Whacha want to do darlin'?"
"Can we sit out by the deck?"
"Of course"
We walked up some stairs before making out to the deck, the sun was up high and the hot blaze heated us up right up. We saw a little glimpse of the shore before we where out at sea. I had a faint smile on my face admiring the warm yellow sun and the vibrant blue ocean, man it was hard to be scared of it.Bob rested his head on mine and continued looking out into the distance.
"You know..it's good to have you back."
"I've missed you, I just...didn't want to."
Bob took his hand and patted it on my back.
"I'm sorry for the pain I've caused, it was selfish."
The pain in Bob voice seemed genuine. But I still don't think I can forgive him, but I know I can moved passed it. Is it a dumb idea to stay with him? Yes, but is it worth it? Also yes. I smiled at myself and took in the navy blue waves and relaxed.

~time skip~

Night soon rolled around and the boat was still going. I figured to make Otto go to sleep, I didn't care if it would take longer to get to wherever we're going. Otto needed some sleep.

Knocking on his door I heard a faint 'come in'.
I entered and stepped behind him. He turned around and gave me a smile.
"Ah y/n! Whacha need?"
"Otto you need some sleep."
"I don't need sl"-
A loud bang and a scraping sound could be heard from out side. I jumped in response. Otto took out a telescope looking thing I looked from outside. I went to see what he was looking at and it was another boat??
"Y/n listen to me find Bob and go get the guns that are in the closet by the kitchen, don't ask just protect yourself. We'll be on land shortly I'm gonna the jets"
"You have guns?! Protect from what?! Jets?! What's going on?!"
"Y/n, are you thick?! That was a gun shot! And I know that boat.."
I decided not to question him anymore because one he's never yelled at me and two theirs obviously people trying to get us.

I ran around the boat yelling Bob name and apparently he was looking for me also
"Are you alright?! What happened?"
"Well apparently nothing good if Otto told me to get guns."
"What?! What's happening?"
Bob was obviously distressed yelling and becoming irrational. I eventually calmed him down and we headed to the closet with the guns.
"Ars and shot guns?!"
I exclaimed.
Why does he have all these guns did he know he was being chased? The jets started up and it was impossible to stand up.Bob held my hand so I could stand up.
"Uh guys we have a problem, the boat is getting closer. You guys might need to put those guns to use."
Otto said over the intercom.
"Y/n listen to me if it ever comes down to it I'll be the one shooting you stay inside."
"What no! You by yourself out there! You'll die."
"I can't die remember?"
Bob pulled his shirt down so I could see his neck. His amulet was showing.
"You...kept it all this time?"
"You thought I was going to leave immortality? Ha! You make me laugh darlin"
Well I mean as long as Bob can't die, he'll be alright right?
Just then some loud bags from outside. Bob gave me a quick kiss before he headed out side with an ar. I looked outside the window to see two other men on the deck of their boats. Multiple gun shots in the distance. I ducked down and prayed that Bob was alright and that this will all be over soon.

The gun shots slowed down and the door slid open. Bob was covered in bullet wounds and was about to fall over I held him up steady and walked over to a seat.
"Oh my god! Bob sit please!"
Bob was slurring his words so I had no idea what he was saying. I grabbed a rang from the kitchen and tried my best to stop the bleeding. He hissed in pain and I couldn't help but tear up from hurting him

Why was all this happening?
