Ch. 12: Life or Death

From finding out that the giant demon with the golden mane wasn't in fact a gorilla but a lion demon by the name of Azure Lion who was going to be voiced by All Might's English voice actor. It threw me for a freaking loop and I had ended up calling Legio that same night to ask what the heck was going on and they said it was throwing everyone for a loop because all of them didn't realize the bomb would be dropped so soon.

    Yeah. Turns out the English Dub for Season four was already out and being incorporated into the original universe as well as possibly every single universe within this multiverse, SO, thanks to the time distance of season three and season four that is an entire year, I won't have to worry about season four until I hit my next large break like in April or Summer Break after graduation.

    Now dear ol' me needed to catch up so instead of sleeping like I was supposed to, I ended up watching all of season four that same night. It–to say I have mixed feelings about Azure Lion is an understatement, it also doesn't help that his morals and goals line alongside my own morals and what I believe in so now I am being faced with the dilemma of either being a hypocrite to go against him or align with him.

    But luckily I have a counteract if he decides to call me a hypocrite.

We have different methods on how to achieve equality and freedom for all.

He says "Destroy the Jade Emperor."

I say "Seal away the Jade Emperor."

He says "Monkey King is a traitor."

I say "Bull scheiße and check your facts you walking son of a—"

He says "The only way to bring peace is to take over the government."

I say "Anarchy."

He says "This is for the benefit of the people."

I say "HOW ABOUT WORKING TO FIX THE REST OF THE WORLD INSTEAD OF FOCUSING ON JUST CHINA HMMM??? I DIDN'T WITNESS FUDGING WORLD WAR ONE AND TWO IN OTHER UNIVERSES TO HEAR THIS B.S."

Ahem.

Pardon me, I have issues.

But at least I fact-check instead of going based on your own "mindless" truth.

Nonetheless, I am going to have so much fun, possibly getting even more emotionally traumatized by someone who could become another father figure to me.

"Victoria is everything alright?"

I snapped out of my miniature rant to look at Tang who had a look of worry on his face. Oh. Right. Today is Spider Queen Appreciation Day A.K.A. the events of Noodles or Death.

After recovering from my tests with Monkey King, I had decided to go with Tang and Pigsy to the marketplace, wanting to see what was being sold and such. Of course, once I began to hear the familiar voice lines from that episode, I began to realize that today was that very day.

I looked at Tang and nodded, "Yeah, sorry about that. I zoned out for a few moments there." Tang let out a hum at my response before saying, "Alright," and focusing back onto Pigsy who was looking at carrots.

I hummed and peered at a few dragonfruit, kiwi, and lychee from the same stall, asking the vendor a few questions regarding how fresh they were and what fertilizer was used. Of course, Pigsy was picky with his carrots and began to move on from this stall with Tang letting out a sigh of exasperation with Pigsy's behavior and decided to follow after him.
