THIS CHAPTER MAY HAVE A LITTLE DRAMA IN IT
Bakugo: *smile falls a little, looks into his eyes, completely forgot he has his license now, blinks, thinks about it, settles more into the tub, rubs his fingers up and down Deku's back in thought*
" I... Honestly haven't really thought about it. My whole reason for joining UA was to be a hero... But so much as changed since first joining. I still want to be a hero, but... Since I now have something I want to fight for and protect... We are now at risk of fighting something very dangerous... The one thing I know for sure though.. is that I want you to fight by my side. As long as I have you, we can overcome anything. Even the bad stuff." *looks away, realizes that the line of work they are going into could get them killed, can't imagine a world without Deku in it*
DEKU-*looks up and sees Kacchan's smile fades, sits up and smiles softly*
"Lets get out I still have to bandage your hand and look over your wounds" * washes my body and hair overthinking about the hero thing, and what Kacchan said, rinses my hair and the soap off my body and gets out, grabs a green towel and wraps the towel around my waist and hands kacchan another green towel and holds it out*
"I...I want to still be a hero but I don't know I can work beside you...because I will be worried sick about you and I wouldn't be able to focus.." * realizes what I just said I grip the towel and shake my head and look away from him*
"I mean I would love to be your partner but..." *smiles fades slowly and sad eyes form*
" Do you think that we could handle watching one of us on a verge of death again" * bites the inside of my cheek trying not to run away or ruin this moment*
"Sorry...I am just trying not to run away again.. I am trying to say what's on my mind and I still think it would have been better if I didn't bring this up" * hands the towel over the bath and walks to the first aid kit and starts to pull out all gauze, alcohol, Neosporin, and bandages*
Bakugo: *looks up at him as he gets out of the tub, his body feeling better after soaking in hot water for his muscles to relax, gets out, grabs the towel, wraps his around his waist, leans against the counter as he watches Deku pull out the first aid kit, holds out his hand, thinking*
"You're right..." *takes a deep breath*
"As much as I've always wanted to be a hero, I can't watch you get seriously hurt again... And again and again.. it would torture me seeing you like that. I swore to always be there to protect you. And I intend to keep that promise." *hisses as Deku puts medicine on his hand, jerks his hand away, cups the back of his hand with the other, pouting*
"That hurts..." *gently blows on his palm to relieve the stinging sensation, gives him big red eyes with his bottom lip stuck out, whimpers*
DEKU-*continues to unwrap the bandage, I hear water spalshes around, looks over in the corner of my eye and see's kacchan getting out of the tub and wrap himself in a towel, eyes drift back to the bandage as I see him walking towards me, rips the bandage and sets it on the counter, grabs the alcohol and opens it all movements stop when kacchan starts to talk, I listen to his words closely and try to take them to heart but I can't because I know that This won't work out for us being heroes together, sighs and grabs his hand and places it above the sink*
"Kacchan you have always wanted to be a hero... don't ruin your dreams just because I am now in your life" *pours the alcohol on his hand and flinches when he jerks his hand back looks up at him wide eyed and watches his cute pout giggles softly and pulls his hand back over the sink, grabs a cotton ball and pats the wound to get the alcohol deeper in the wound*
