As a pack member, we had the duty to see the king's off. On the day of his departure, I joined the crowd in the main courtyard. Watching him leave, I felt a mix of sadness and pride.

Weeks later, news spread that the king needed staff for the palace. Excitement filled the pack, and I saw it as a chance to prove Myself beyond the pack's confines.

With a determined spirit, I approached Jay, the head chef, to seek advice. "Hey Jay, I've heard the king is looking for palace staff. What do you think? Should I apply?" I asked, a mix of nerves and excitement in my eyes.

Jay, with a wise smile, shared his own experiences working in the palace. "It's a challenge, but it's also a chance to grow. If you feel up for it, go for it," he encouraged.

Bolstered by Jay's support, I decided to take the leap. The application process was nerve-wracking, with doubts and fears creeping into my mind. What if I wasn't good enough? What if I missed the familiar warmth of my pack too much?

Nevertheless, I pressed on, carefully detailing my skills and passion for service on the application form. I, the diligent servant who had tirelessly served her pack, was now reaching for new horizons.

Days turned into an anxious wait until, one morning, a letter arrived for me. I heart raced as I opened it, revealing an invitation for an interview at the palace. Joy and disbelief flooded me; I had earned the chance to prove myself beyond the pack's borders.

Eager to share the news, I rushed to find Jay in the kitchen. Bursting with excitement, my exclaimed, "Jay, I got accepted for an interview at the palace!"

Jay paused his kitchen duties, a proud smile on his face. "That's fantastic, kid! You're ready for this."

With Jay's encouragement ringing in my ears, I prepared for the interview. The day finally arrived when I bid farewell to my pack, expressing gratitude for the support and camaraderie I had known.

As I set out on the journey to the palace, I felt a mix of emotions – excitement for the opportunities ahead and a touch of sadness for leaving behind the pack she had known all my life.

The path to the palace was filled with new sights and sounds. I marveled at the changing landscapes and unfamiliar territories. Along the way, I encountered fellow travelers and shared stories of my pack and the impending adventure at the palace.

The journey from my pack to the palace had been a transformative one for I. With each step, I embraced the challenges and possibilities that lay ahead, ready to serve and prove myself in the grand halls of the palace.

Arriving at the grand gates, I took a deep breath, as I reached the big palace gates, I told the guard why I was there, and he let me in. Inside, the palace gardens were amazing. There were fancy fountains, statues, and beautiful flowers everywhere. It felt like a magical place.

I walked through the gardens, looking around with big eyes. The palace was so grand, with high ceilings, pretty tapestries, and shiny marble floors. It was like nothing I'd ever seen before.

After a while, I found the room where I was supposed to start working. There were other servants busy getting ready for a big feast that evening. I quickly introduced myself to the head servant and got to work.

I chopped vegetables, stirred pots, and helped with all the preparations. Time flew by, and when the guests arrived, I stood on the side, watching them enjoy the food we had made. It made me feel proud and happy.

As the night went on, and the guests left, I was so tired. I went to my bed and just fell on it. I was exhausted, but I also felt excited. This was only the beginning of my time at the palace, and I couldn't wait to see what else was in store for me.
