In exchange for power, you can no longer look away from the things you don't want to see.-Yukari Takeba, Persona 3

"So we're really doing this?" (Y/n) asked.
"I see no better time than now." Yusuke replied.
He was worried, after his little excursion into the Metaverse yesterday the feeling of fatigue still hadn't left him after a full night of rest. (Y/n) recalled only driving himself and Makoto back home, then passed out on the couch. If he was being truthful, even standing around like this was tiring to him.
"Alright, let's get this started." Ryuji motioned to fetch his phone.
"Wait." (Y/n) decided to get this out of the way. "I'm gonna sit this one out." A few surprised looks were aimed at him, but he could see that they understood.
"You're still not feeling well?" Makoto asked.
"I honestly don't think I'll be able to fight the way I am right now." (Y/n) admitted. A quick visit to the Metaverse might not have entailed combat, but he wasn't willing to risk himself or worse risk someone else because they tried covering for him. "I'm pretty much already up to speed, just explain anything new to me if you figure something out."
"Sounds good." Akira said.
"But wait, what'll you be doing while we're gone?" Ann asked.
"I'm gonna do some legwork around Shibuya." said (Y/n). "I figure I might learn something if I ask around that store we saw Alice at yesterday."
"I think that's for the best." Haru nodded. "But be sure not to overexert yourself."
"Of course." (Y/n) smiled, then separated from the main group. He went to the walkway's entrance and watched as the group of teens vanished into thin air. The people around them were none the wiser.

It didn't take long for (Y/n) to piece together that there was something very wrong after he entered Shibuya's main hub of activity. It was always busy, but it was organized. There were at least a dozen notable individuals that were fighting tooth and nail to get into an apparel store that he recognized as one that Ann had recommended for his needs.
People were clamoring to get into the store.
"Alice Hiragi merchandise, why don't you have it anymore?!" One of the patrons screamed.
"I'm terribly sorry sir, but we've sold out." The clerk let out an awkward chuckle. "We had an amount set up earlier, but they've all been bought. Miss Hiragi must have quite the dedicated fanbase."
This was a red flag if he'd ever seen one.
(Y/n) walked through the streets, and he could see that another apparel store was in the same state.
"This is definitely not normal." (Y/n) knew all about Idol Culture, but he was pretty sure this did not fall under the norm.
He moved on, then headed for the alley that Untouchable was located down. He could hear screaming, and acted as if he hadn't seen anything. The bell above the door to Untouchable rang out, and he was greeted with an acknowledging nod by Iwai.
