"Bro?! Aren't you listening? Danielle had a huge crush on Nikii!" Minji replied
"It's just a crush, and like you said she 'had' a crush on that guy" Haerin added and started going back to Danielle's office
"Don't say we didn't warn you" said Hanni
Haerin was about to grab the knob when the door opened and revealed a pair giggling "Haerin" said a surprised Danielle "N-nikii and I are about to grab some lunch. Uhm... can we get a rain check on that dinner?"
"No, no. Looks like you had plans already. We can cancel" said Nikii
"No, it's fine" Haerin said "there's always a next time. You and Dani can catch up"
"Why don't you come with us?" Nikii asked
"No, no. It's fine. You two go" Haerin insisted
"Are you sure?" Nikii asked again
"Yes" Haerin replied "Now go. I'll meet you at home" she added and gave Danielle a hug.
"I'll bring her back before dinner" Nikii added and started walking towards the elevator with Danielle leaving Haerin.
Turning to her side she saw her friends giving her the 'are you fucking serious look?'. They came closer "You're just gonna stand there and let them?" Hanni asked
"Guys come on. I trust Dani ok. And like you guys said. It's just a crush. Nothing more" she said sternly and walked away.
Evening came, and Haerin was helping Nancy in the kitchen when the front door burst open and came in two people giggling. "My princess looks happy" said Namjoon to his daughter
"Dad!" Danielle greeted her father with a hug
"What happened?!" asked a frantic Nancy who came rushing to the living room
"Mom!" Danielle also hugged her
"Nikii?" Namjoon asked finally noticing him
"Good Evening, sir" Nikii greeted and shook the older mans' hand
"So, what's happening why are you all smiley" Nancy asked
Daniele stood next to Nikii "why don't you tell them?" he said
"Well, you see Nikii here, after treating me lunch. He introduced me to a modelling agency" Danielle started "and... I showed them some pictures from before and they said I got in! They asked me if I could do a photoshoot tomorrow"
"Aww! Baby! I'm so proud of you!" said Nancy hugging her daughter again
"It's all thanks to Nikii" said Daniele
Haerin came out of the kitchen wipping her hands "Hey"
She started confused on what was going on. Danielle broke her embrace from Nikii.
"Hey babe" she said and gave her a hug
"Nikii referred Danielle to a modelling agency" said Namjoon.
"And?" Haerin asked Danielle
"I got in!"
"For reals?! I'm proud of you" Haerin replied
"Nikii, why don't you join us for dinner?" asked Namjoon.
"Uhm..."
"Come on, Nik. It's a thank you for everything. I'm sure you missed mom's cook" Danielle said
"Ok fine" Nikii replied
As they were having dinner, business was all they talked about leaving Haerin out of place. She didn't know anything about it so, she just stayed quiet. Danielle noticed this and took Haerin's hand under the table and held it 'You okay?' she mouthed
Haerin smiled in response
After dinner Danielle is in her room drying her hair when she heard a knock on the door "Come in"
Haerin peaked her head "Hey" she greeted
"Hey, come in"
"Nah, it's fine. Just came to say good night"
Danielle turned to the other girl by the door "Sorry again about the dinner. I'll make it up to you"
"You don't have to. Matter of fact, if you didn't go to that lunch with Nikii, you wouldn't be able to get to that modelling agency. Well, I'm sure you could but you know" Danielle walked towards her and gave the girl a hug "Just so you know, I'm proud of you and I will always be right beside you"
"Thank you" Danielle replied and buried her face on Haerin chest and breathed in the other girls' scent.
"Now get your beauty sleep. You have a pictorial tomorrow"
"But I want to stay like this" Danielle didn't budge "I missed you. We haven't been hanging out lately and now with this, I don't know when I can do this again"
Haerin grinned and looked at the girl "In case you're forgetting, I'm your bodyguard. So, wherever you go, I will go. I won't leave you"
They broke away from the hug and Haerin was about to go out when Danielle grabbed her by the waist, back hugging her.
"Promise?"
"Promise"
They were inches apart when Danielle phone started. to ring making then laugh "It's Nikii" Haerin nodded indicating Danielle to answer it "Hey"

Haerin stood there silently listening in
"Ok, alright. See you" she replied and hanged up.
Haerin turned back to Danielle "you should go to sleep" "No... I want to stay up with you" Danielle retorted like a child
Haerin smiled "Come on" she said leading the girl to bed "Go to sleep, you have a busy day tomorrow" she said tucking the girl in and walked towards the door "Night"
"Haerin" Danielle said before the other girl could leave
Haerin turned "Hmm?"
"I love you"
Haerin smiled "I love you too"
