"Are willing you take that risk for me too?" asked Danielle still cupping Haerin's cheeks.
Haerin thought for a moment and met Danielle eyes. She sighed. "I would take any risks for you" she finally replied.
And with that Danielle wrapped her arms on Haerin's neck hugging her while the other girl wrapped hers on Danielle's waist.
Feeling like the happiest person in the world Haerin carried Danielle and twirled her around making the other girl shriek.
Then she set her down and their foreheads touched again "So, what are we now?" Haerin asked
"I guess, we're official" Danielle smiled.
Haerin reflected the smile "I like the sound of that.
"So, you guys are like together, together now?" Hanni asked looking at the couple in front of her with Danielle seating on Haerin's lap and her arm on Haerin's neck
"Yep" replied Danielle and kissed Haerin on the cheek
"I guess, our plan was successful" Minji said
"Plan?" Haerin asked curiously
"Well, you see our friend here as you can see has a major crush on you and she needed help" Hanni explained
Haerin turned to Danielle "You have?"
"Well, duh. Like we helped her plan like a thousand things just for you to notice her undying love for you" Minji explained" Yeah but most of them failed like one time she tried to cook for you. That didn't go well" said Hanni.
"I remember that" said Haerin "yeah that did fail" she said remembering the 'buttered shrimp soup' She earned a light slap from her girlfriend.
"Hey, I tried my best to cook for that ok. And I got cut làbtike a lot of times" Danielle said
"Aww I'm sorry babe" said Haerin and kissed the girls' hand on her shoulder.
"So, I'm going to be the maid of honour on your wedding yeah?!" Minji commented
"What are you talking about? I'm the woman here" Hanni replied
"So? I don't care" said Minji.
They heard a knock on the door and Minji opened it. Namjoon secretary came into view. It was the same girl who called Haerin before "Miss Kang and Miss Marsh, your Dad wanted both of you in his office"
They made their way to his office and knock before entering. They were told to come in and when they did they saw two figures. It was a woman seating behind the desk and Namjoon leaning his arms beside her "Mom? Dad?" Danielle asked
"Sir" the woman commanded, and they did
"So, I heard. You two are officially together" she turned from one girl to another.
Danielle felt Haerin tense up a bit so, she held her handand gave her a small squeeze "Yes" she replied
The older couple didn't say anything for a couple of seconds then Nancy, Danielle mother handed Namjoon a hundred dollar bill. The younger couple were confused "You're mother and I made a bet whether you'll end up with a guy or a girl. And obviously, I won" said Namjoon "I'm the winner!"
Nancy turned to her husband "Winner?" she asked
"Greatest of all time? Duh! Like keep up with the cool" said Namjoon, Nancy rolled her eyes.
'Now I know where Danielle got her attitude from' Haerin thought. Nancy turned to their daughter "I'm so happy for you, sweetie" she went around the desk and hugged her daughter
"Yeah, yeah. My princess finally found her true love! Let's get turnt!" said Namjoon and also hugged her daughter.
When they finished they then turned to Haerin "Welcome to the family!" Namjoon hugged her too "But remember what I told you before" he said and gave her an 'I'm watching you' signal.
Haerin smiled. "So, you must be Haerin. I've a lot of things about you" said Nancy.
"Nice to finally meet you ma'am" said Haerin
"Ma'am? Such a polite young woman. Do continue taking care of her" she told her daughter and Danielle smile at Haerin "Just call me mom, honey"
"Mom!" said Danielle
"What? It'll end up like that anyways. Why not get used to it?" Nancy explained
"Stop making her uncomfortable. Besides we just started dating and that thing isn't in our minds yet" said Danielle.
"Fine, just call us Aunty and Uncle" said the older woman and Haerin nodded
"Isn't it lit! Our daughter is dating her bodyguard meaning more protection".
"Bodyguard? Why don't you just work for us, Haerin? I heard you graduated with a business degree" Nancy asked
"Uhm. Thank you for the offer ma'am but I like being Danielle's bodyguard for now" Haerin replied "And it wouldn't look good on your employees. With your daughter dating me now and a sudden change in my position, that will look fishy"
"You're smart. I like you" Nancy commented
"I ship this couple!" said Namjoon.
"Ship?" Nancy asked
"I like them together. I swear do I need to explain everything?" said Namjoon. Nancy turned to him "I mean, I'll keep my mouth shut now"
"That's what I thought" his wife replied, "Why don't we go out for dinner?"
"We'd love that" Danielle replied looking at Haerin who smiled at her.
