Chapter 15. A Martyr

As predicted, Danielle been busy at the office and with her new modelling career. As with Haerin, like the supportive girlfriend she is, she's been very understanding about not having some quality time with her.

She is currently at home because Nikii insisted on driving Danielle instead and said that Haerin would've been bored just seating at the studio. She's at the gym doing some excercise when the door burst open revealing two familiar faces.

"What's up, fuckers!" Hanni shouted as she walked in followed by Minji.

Haerin sat up from the bench and wiped her sweat "Danielle not here. She's at the studio"

"Again?!" Minji asked

"How are you feeling?" Minji asked seating next to
Haerin.

"Fine?" Haerin replied curiously "Why?"

"Well, lets see. Your girlfriend's been hanging around more with your supposed mortal enemy" Hanni explained

"Oh, here we go again. Guys, I'm ok with Danielle hanging around who ever she likes. Besides, I know Nikii, he seems like a cool guy" Haerin stood up from her seat and went to the punching bags.

"Do you really?" Hanni asked

"Haerin, sweetie. We're only trying to help" said Hanni

Haerin knew deep inside they were right. She doesn't know Nikii that much and lately she's been feeling left out.

Danielle's always been with him these passed few days and it's making her a little bit jealous. But she kept pushing it down because she trusts Danielle.

Evening came and there was no Danielle in sight. Haerin left about a thousand calls and texts already but nothing.

She's getting worried. "Don't worry, she's with Nikii" namjoon reassured her.

Its about quarter passed one, the door burst open and revealed Danielle, drunk, clutching hold unto Nikii.

"That was fun!" she commented

Haerin who fell asleep on the sofa got up to her feet and helped Nikii with the drunken Danielle.

"What happened?" she asked.

Nikii who also smell like alcohol replied "Sorry, Kang Kitty. Our workmates kinda invited us and we couldn't say no"

Danielle who still has a little bit sense on her looked up to Haerin and smiled.

"There's my beautiful girlfriend"

Haerin rolled her eyes. She doesn't like seeing Danielle like this "Thanks Nikii.

I'll take it from here" She carried the girl to her room and laid her on her bed and changed her clothes.

The next morning, Minji and Hanni decided to come visit again.

They saw Danielle by the pool on her phone while Haerin is no where to be found "Yes, that would be great" they heard Danielle say as they approach "Yeah, cool. See you" then hanged up

"Busy as always I see" said Minji who sat on the bench next to her.

"And when did you start saying cool?" asked Hanni laying on the other side

"What are you guys doing here?" asked Danielle.

"Girl, we're always here and we missed you like lots" replied Hanni.

Daniele rolled her eyes and laid on her bench "So, how are you and Nikii. We heard you two are working on the same studio now" said Minji

"We're doing great. Been catching up" Danielle replied then her phone vibrated.
