Kyle's POV
"You mean Bailey just broke up with you? No lead up, she just came out and did it?" Brett's sitting on my couch chowing down on an apple and I'm pacing in front of him. Three steps foward, turn on my heel, two steps back, repeat.
"Yes, I don't understand."
"I do. Dude, you know what you did, I know what you did. Just face it, you deserved that." He sucks at inspirational speeches.
"Gee thanks Mr. Motivator! Notice the sarcasm."
"Come on, let's do something." We walk out of the room and outside. He starts jogging.
"Where are we going?"
"Just follow me!" I have to run twice as hard that he is to keep up with him. He's an all-state sprinter. Finally he stops...at the mall?
"What are we doing here?"
"The best treatment to a broken heart, A STARBUCKS FRAPPE!!" He does know me. We walk inside and get our drinks then sit on the bench.
"I'm going to get over her, I promise."
"Good, now get home and read 'The Giver'!"
"Ok, bye man. See ya at practice!" I walk home, I'm tired of running.

Just a warning, never read "The Giver"! It's the most boring book in the world! Basically, some guy named Jonas is an odd-ball and goes through a lot of trouble trying to save a baby odd-ball and then pretty much falls off the edge of the world into a snowy cabin! I finished my report too, over-achiever alert! I don't really miss Bailey that much. I'm going to english to turn in my report.
"Here sir."
"Mr. White, I thought I assigned you to work with Bailey?"
"You did. But we didn't, so here." I hand him my report.
"Ok..." I walk out. Jordan's standing outsidde the cafeteria listening to music. She has a girly personality, yet a pretty edgy style. With her red tank top, leather vest, blue jeans, and combat boots.
"Jordan!" She pulls her ear buds out. "Please just tell Bailey that I'm sorry and even though she hates me, I'll never stop loving her."
"Ok so Kyle, I know something you guys don't."
"What?"
"I kinda, well, I...like...you."
"What?" She just kisses me, what? I'm so lost! She runs off. What just happened?
